Buyed a poker site 2 years ago for $1000... Have not changed a single affiliate link from the previous owner yet or updated the site meanwhile..... Good sale for the seller

LOL - i have done the same exact thing except its a casino site. Here is the funny part. The person i bought it from also did the same thing when selling it to me - so the affiliate links are from 3 or 4 years ago from the affiliate he bought it from. :-)

This is pretty standard - I have also bought domains that I have never developed and let some of them expire... Same with content - ordered articles for website and they are still sitting in my email box.

Yeah only if you edit the affiliate links before i buy it. Haha!

Yeah i do that as well - have over 600 of those somewhere in all my emails.

Bought a cool slots site for a couple thousand. Never did a thing to it. When I was finally ready to make some changes it had expired and I was left with nada. I never even transferred the domain to my name.

re-directed and masked a bunch of domains to show all the same content. Totally screwed the main site, google didn't touch it for about 1.5 years. No google traffic starting out. finally took head out of arse and fixed it and google shows up a week or two later.
