Mindmapping Software / Online Service?

I'm looking for proper mindmapping software to draw out website projects page by page, pretty much exactly like the guys at Notable | Better Webpages Through Faster Iterations, Website Screenshot Feedback. Their site is great for mapping out a website you're planning to build and translating the idea to the builders, but I'm not keen on a subscription to the tune of 50 dollars a month if it's not something I continually use.

Any tips/advice on other software or online services are greatly appreciated!

There is definitely something to be said for writing things out by hand, I'll never knock it. Just hard to organize for big projects.
