Someone hacked my Moniker account and ordered 23 URL forwards priced $6.00 each using an AMEX. I got the invoice via email a week ago and instantly logged in changed my password, checked all domains were still in my account, and then reset back all the DNS where they needed to be (he had forwarded them to a malware directory).
As soon as all was secure I emailed Moniker informing them of this. I need "nothing" for support. I have my account, domains, everything else. I'm reporting someone hacked my account and made a fraudulent charge.
They email me back needing me to fax IDs and shit in order to assist me. Umm I need no assistance. Someone hacked my account, you can see the IP right in the admin, and can also see the trail of me logging in from my regular IP, changing my password and resetting back all domains to old setting (therefore not needing what was ordered). The only thing an issue here is a stolen credit card was likely used on your site and you probably want to reverse it.
LOL they've done nothing been more than a week. Considering I need nothing I'm not sending them IDs. Maybe time to move my domains somewhere else, because the entire situation super silly and support is idiots. Just reverse the transaction and keep an eye out for that IP, or that credit card, on other accounts.
