    Default PayPal Gift Payments...

Got this email. They let it go through and paid me, guess it was just a warning. Surprised they were so kind tbh.

Just letting you know they're getting tighter on these.

    "Dear,

    (me)

Please do not reply to this email. This mailbox is not monitored and we are not able to respond to inquiries sent to this e-mail address. If you still need assistance please log in to your PayPal account.

Thank you for using PayPal to accept money with your PayPal account. We recently changed our pricing structure so that you can receive money from friends and family for personal payments within the US for free. Personal payments are for sending a gift, splitting a lunch bill, paying your share of the living expenses, and everyday exchanges of money between friends and family.

If you receive money as a payment for a purchase or service, you will continue to incur fees.

We've noticed that some customers are sending you personal payments for purchases of items or services; for example, transaction ID 56371953087.

Unfortunately, this is against our policies, and we need your help correcting it. Please don't ask or allow your customers to use personal payments to pay for their purchases.

If we continue to see such activity, we may have to disable your ability to receive free personal payments, and then you will pay fees for all money received through PayPal.

Here's how you can find more information about payment types and fees:

Click "Fees" at the bottom of any PayPal page
Click "Legal Agreements" at the bottom of any PayPal page, and then click "PayPal User Agreement." Sections 4 and 8 refer to receiving money and fees.

If you have any questions, concerns, or think we may have made a mistake, please contact us at P2P@paypal.com.

We value your business and appreciate your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Ashley

    Was thinking the same thing

Seriously though, PayPal has been shorting my exchange rate an average of 2.53%. They also charge me 4.2% fee for receiving a cross border payment. So 6.73% I lose taking PayPal payments and it also takes around 10 days to cash out to my bank account and no debit cards offered here. MoneyGram soooooo much cheaper!! When someone from the US pays $2,000 exact ($1961+$39fee) it cost me 3.4% all together (including fee + exchange rate) and have cash available in 10 minutes in my hand as local currency. End rant, but freak paypal makes a ton off of me.

If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

I think there getting stiffer on those mass payments too. I guess it's kinda obvious when you're sending a mass payment to one person lol.

Mass pay has been a standard $22 fee for me for quite a while now. I'm still all for putting our budgets and minds together and building a new payment system and hosting it in Seychelles. Fuck the police.
