I recently went and looked at an old email address that I havent looked at in a while cause I gave up on it. In there I have two different companies who contacted me asking for placement on our site. The second emails from both of them are basically saying "Why are you not responding." " Following my previous mail, I'd appreciate if you contact me today or sometime this week.". Not only do they seem pushy but had they even looked at our site they would have seen How to Contact US on every single page.

If they googled our name they would see "How to Contact Us"

So how hard is it to go to the page and see the proper way of contacting a webmaster instead of using the whois. Sure my whois should be up to date but it doesn't take a genius to figure out what you should be doing and if you don't get a reply you either sent your email to the wrong location or people aren't interested.

It should be mandatory reading for every new A.M. in the biz!

That's a topic that should be discussed more often here. I tried it on PAP without sucess maybe I'm luckier here
And the post is still a bit superficial - there's a lot more to say about this topic.
