Rumours about Stars buying FT?

So this is on 2+2 and everybody is talking about it. Well we have heard a lot of stuff re: FT, so I guess everyone will want to see it before believing it.

But assuming this deal is the real thing and will not fall through, what will the consequences be for affiliates?
Is Stars likely to honor the tracking of existing players?
Will affs get paid what they were owed before BF?

And if you were Stars, would you keep the two platforms separate, or try to integrate the FT player base (like, transfer the bankrolls to Stars after FT players sign up there) and some software features like Rush Poker into the Stars platform?
