Anyone at CAP Spring Break?

This is going to be another entertaining news story from our resident comedians over at CAP. Is there anyone at all going to the conference other than 3-4 staff, 2 affiliate managers and Bonus Streak + daughter? We were approached with several emails from AM's asking if we were attending, including Stars, and then never heard back? Even Alex has decided to take a pass?
Is there anyone from this place attending the CAP event in Cancun this week?

Spring Break really got lost in all this... And I know many of you were posting about how many conferences there were in such short period of time. I think the Spring Break got cut from many peoples list and then when the CAP PAP dispute many took a permanent marker and scratched it off the list as fast as possible. I do hope it becomes productive and not a total waste for ppl that go.
That would be very disappointing to be in that situation...
I also think it is bad that no one from CAP has posted to the guy saying whats up...

Maybe a PAL spring break next year???

Warren comes in to clear up the situation saying:
"We've had to attend to a lot of things (many which were completely unnecessary and unforseen), thus could not get an announcement out to notify everyone well in advance that none of the scheduled and sponsored events would be happening."

So from speaking with my friends who used to post at CAP I know there were closer to 200 people at every Spring Break event (including Miami). There were also sponsored parties, organized events and meetings.

In my opinion CAP needs to refund the affiliates who came expecting an organized event. Even on the CAP website there is a schedule and the parties that are not canceled.

that is really painful and I feel bad for one operator I know who went thinking it was going to be as big as CAC and worth the effort. Is the thread on CAP from scubaguy deleted?

Something seems weird to me though? Why is Warren still making posts about how it's
no big deal' that affiliates and managers got cheated out of thousands of dollars coming to a show that was supposed to be an real event.

These people need to be reimbursed for their flights and hotel. A dinner one night isnt going to do it.

Anything less than a full refund is unacceptable imo. You can't just say this conference is unlike others, its a bit more casual...

Casual is way different than deserted and a bust.
