Default Bovada is back into online poker as of today

Bovada has just started taking online poker live again on their platform. It started this morning an should be completed in nine countries soon. US included! Now the Pai Wang Luo network will have two sites serving the US... Bovada and Ignition. Given the bonus situation, I think Ignition is the new "flagship" of the proker brands.

How Does This Impact the Network?
The opening of Bovada's casino and sports user base to the poker platform should have a healthy effect on game quality across the entire PaiWangLuo Network. The network has long been the largest destination for online poker in the United States, as tracked by Pokerscout.com, but there are occasions like today when the Winning Poker Network has temporarily usurped this spot. This latest infusion of traffic from Bovada should allow PWL to pull more comfortably ahead of its competitors. Ignition Poker recently started accepting Australians, which is expected to have a similar beneficial effect on the size of the network.

What was reasoning for returning to poker? Ug - just more work. You take the time to pull them down and now you put them back up. They should give affiliates a "bonus" for promoting them again.

They said they listened to the players, but seems like a lot of wasted worked to move people over to ignition.

I agree. What Ignition was lacking was the sports betting punters. Now those players are back in action via Bovada. That should prove good for game liquidity and softness.

Yea, no doubt. It's a lot of work to redo all this stuff. And they have different compensation plans. Will be odd to balance out. If anyone here is interested in selling off their traffic to Ignition (which is much more difficult to maintain with the tier structure), I'd be interested in talking to them!

Agreed about the extra work part. Some of their sports punters probably got pissed and enough of them left or threatened to that they changed course. Then again, it could have been entirely some sort of legal decision at the time. Calvin Ayre was still trying to fade those US federal charges (which he did just last month after half a dozen years or so).
