Default WSOP Vegas Meet-up May 29-31st

We talked about this in past PAL meet-up threads but I wanted to renew the discussion. The WSOP will have their lowest buy-in event ever with a $1,000 dollar recession event starting May 30th (Saturday). I figured it would make for an awesome weekend for PAL affiliates to meet up, hang out and play poker.

Reply if you are interested and if a bunch of us decide to go, we should be able to negotiate a good rate at a Las Vegas hotel.

Would just miss this by a week or so - I'll be at the Encore on Memorial Day weekend (May 22nd through the 25th...). Bleh.
My devilishly sick Casino Gambling Guide (*under construction*) will eventually pwn souls AGAIN - oh yea, I also enjoy doing Poker News and hot, barely legal, sexy sports blogging gymnasts...as well as shameless sig whoring in general.

Note: if you need a hookup on affordable CraigsList girls in Rockford, hit me up! Discounts available if you know Jeremy Enke. Oh, and NickM is the Bert to my Ernie - *xoxo* kiddo.

You should all rent a house out there. Much better deal than hotels and obviously nicer amenities with your own washer/dryer, perhaps a pool, etc.

Here's an example that seems reasonably priced:

Vacationrentals.com: 3 bedroom House sleeps 12 in Las Vegas Nevada - *The Vintage Vegas Villa- 1/2 ml to Conv Ctr,3 min to Strip

Or you could use the site listings here:

Las Vegas Vacation Rentals, Cheap Las Vegas Vacations, Las Vegas Condo Rentals

If you do a Google search, I'd recommend typing in "vegas vacation rentals" rather than "vegas house rentals" because sometimes you'll get houses that are rent to own instead of shorter-term stays.

With the cost of hotels nowadays in Vegas, plus the number of REALLY NICE ONES, is there really a point to do that?

On second thought... this one isn't bad:

    Or dis:

If we were to do a house we would definitely need to hire a cleaning service midway...it could get pretty trashed (IE. learn from Jeremy's Amsterdam experience) . If I can get some type of head count I can call a couple hotels and see what they can do for us.

We could decide then...I am down for whatever.

There is no way I am staying in a house with a bunch of dudes again. After the Amsterdam cess pool/episode of intervention, I think I will opt for room service, maids, and a casino in the lobby
