What..adwords?

Just a quick question...

I did a search for a poker term and I saw a couple adwords listings for it. This was a bonus code search term.

Any adwords stuff is just something that a sneaky affiliate has in there before google figures it out right? Its not something that will actually last is it?

I see plenty of them! Google isn't accurate and some can put Ads online. Usually you have to denounce it to Google if you feel the competition is hurt.
I know that is something in progress regarding some European markets like UK and Italy. It seems to be possible that Adwords for gambling is legal under certain circumstances there.

I just heard that Google seems to allow Adwords for gambling in the near future at least for some markets. But the problem is that click prices will rise tremendously and I can't imagine that it's profitable in long term.

It is possible to get a gambling advert through googles net for a few hours, or even a couple of days over the weekend, however, once they have spotted it they will remove it. This rule tends to count for existing google adword account holders, however, never works on a new account which is checked first before going live.

I have actually got a google adwords gambling account, this was only recently approved.

To get one, you must fit certain criteria, in my case, be UK based and only promote UK legal gambling houses. I do believe that there is a couple of other european countrys that google will allow a licence to with slightly different criteria.

At present it is not too expensive, however, the more get involved the dearer it will presumably get.
