Default Old Absolute Affiliate Account problems

I'm hoping I have placed this in the right thread?. Useful replies from anyone who has had the same or similar problem will be very much appreciated. If this is covered anywhere else on the forum, please put up a link to the thread.

Way back in 2005 I opened an affiliate account at Absolute Poker whilst I was running a poker site, I had, I think, 5 sign ups through the account, ( I do have the details written down somewhere, player names etc ), out of these 5 sign ups, I became aware that 3 deposited and the sums ranged from $100 upto $600, a total of around $900 or so. At that time, if I remember correctly, Absolute ran there own affiliates, so to speak, and the account management panel was quite clear, telling me player names, sign up date, deposits etc, I remember checking back some time later and thinking it quite strange that my account was showing no one had played!, all the money still in their accounts, but no play activity, lets face it, how many people would place $600 into a poker account, not play there and leave the money sitting?.

I mailed Absolute at the time but had no reply. A couple of months went by and still nothing showing, just the money in the accounts. I managed to get hold of one of the players, the guy who deposited the $600, a very good, active and now quite well known online player, who informed me he had been playing there almost every day in cash nl holdem and had increased his bankroll ten fold as well as receiving bonus's etc. More mails to Absolute with one reply, " we're looking into it, then nothing!. I dont remember how many more e-mails I sent, but I never had another reply. Some time later I remember going to login to my account and ending up at another site, can't remember who it was, but something like commission junction, guess what, no details of any sign ups, deposits, play, absolutely nothing. Many mails were sent to these people, but I never had a single reply.

I eventually sold the site, not the affiliate accounts!, ( how is that done? ), and moved into contract management for awhile, often getting the odd nice surprise e-mail telling me I had money in my Full tilt and PokerStars player accounts or my Bet365 affiliate account, ( over £300 sitting in there now, but only 1 active player so cannot withdraw! )

So, here I am some 4 years later, recently made redundant from my job, back on the internet after being off for over a year due to moving house etc and having no real need to be on it as I had sold or passed on all my previous projects!. I dig out some old lists etc from when I was running my main poker site and start looking around the old affilite accounts, some nice surprises there!, PokerStars and Full tilt mainly, and I eventually go to Absolute, now i'm sure it's now another company running the affiliate side of things?, as it didn't look at all familiar, but still a 0 shown for sign ups, deposits etc. I also had an account at Poker.com, only 1 active player at the time, but was a very good one and providing revenue for me at the time, but that seems to have all changed too, bahh.

So back to the question, anyone else experienced this type of problem there and if so, did you get it sorted, if so, how?.

I look forward to your replies.

Absolute poker and Ulimate Bet are now on the same network (CEREUS, i think its called??). I've been considering promoting them but due to the scandal a while back and now hearing this im thinking il avoid them!

And whilst i have had no experience promoting them, if thats the way i was being treated by a poker company whom we are helping i would take all links to their sites off my site and get a more co-operative room to promote, lets face it there are loads!

Rooms avoiding emails etc really don't deserve the custom affilaites send them

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I hadn't heard of a scandal, probably due to the amount of time I have been away from affiliating etc. Any info on this anywhere on the forum?.
