i see on quite a few big sites, when WSOP is mentioned they have WSOP*, then at the bottom of the page they talk about wsop being a trademark of harrahs etc.

is this something that needs to be done? or are these sites just keeping themselves right?

maybe this is a stupid/obvious question, im just wondering

They are mainly protecting themselves. Harrahs could sue them for copyright infringment otherwise.

Yeah I've heard a few cases of this. I think Jeremy had problems with them before.

Sucks that we are publicising their brand for them but could get in trouble lol.

Guess we just have to make sure we have a notified message for visitors to let them know WSOP is a trademark or Harrahs?
