    Default Subscription billing service provider

A friend of mine has a subscription service where you can pay a monthly fee, and then get sent some daily reports sent to your email. The fee varies quite a bit based on what kind of reports you select.

He is looking for a service that allow his customers to subscribe and have the fee payed from their credit card each month - Ideally it would also allow the customer to change between some different options without too much hassle.

I would very much appreciate some advice on where to look for something like this.

If it's not gambling related, he can use PayPal. They have a recurring billing option which is pretty easy to set up.

I wouldnt advise using PayPal personally as they can be a nightmare when it comes to verification and getting your money out.

I had a full block put on my account on Jan 26th 2009 because according to PayPal I had reached the receiving limit of $3 300 USD set by the EU Money Laundering Regulations. The fact of the matter was I was over $1 000 short of their limit.

Anyway long story short I got my account fully unlocked and my money accessible on 28th May.

Alert Pay are a better option I think.

As for the non gambling farce.Well Ladbrokes, Bet Fred, Will Hill, Betfair and 888.com all accept PayPal

Don't use PayPal for a subscription service.

It's a nightmare of epic proportions. Never again!

ClickBank is pretty much the industy standard for recurring billing, and the fees are reasonable.
