Default P-pal Temporarily Down For UK Players

Just tried to deposit with paypal into my betfair and paddy power account and was rejected by paypal saying that deposits are not supported in the country my account is registered to. I called paypal and they confirmed that they are temporarily suspending all gambling deposits for UK players. They wouldnt tell me much more.

Luckily im not promoting "paypal poker" anymore but I can imagine this will effect some of you.

Interesting, I've not heard any of this. Can someone else not in the US try depositing and confirm as I sure can't.

My paypal account was flagged this morning which is causing me a headache, interesting timing.

a US citizen with a paypal account can have it frozen for transactions related in any way to poker/gambling. Paypal's policies are different from country to country.

I can see how some people would definitely be a little more cautious right now with the recent freezing of accounts and echecks being held. PayPa1 has never been fond of gambling sites from what I have seen. Although like Pink said, this is a very country by country basis they take.

Just checked. Still works fine for me
Hold'em - like life itself - has its defining moment. It's the flop. When you see the flop, you're looking at 71 percent of your hand, and the cost is only a single round of betting
