Default Can you advertise gambling on any type of site?

I have a site that I would like to add a button or two to it to see if I can get some signups. The niches are totally unrelated but my traffic typically will have credit cards at their disposal.

Is there any LEGAL site that online poker / gambling sites restrict affiliates from using for marketing purposes?

    Thanks.

If there are, it's found in the terms and conditions for each of the respective poker affiliate areas.

Often you can't advertise on porn or warez sites.

I would recommend you to link only at niche related sites.

Your site will gain much reputation if you do it so.

Here is what we have printed on the bet365 affiliates terms and conditions and we manually check each affiliate that signs up before approving them. For best conversions it is advisable to advertise only on gambling/product specific related sites.

    5.3 Unsuitable Sites
We may terminate this Agreement if we determine (in our sole discretion) that your site is unsuitable. Unsuitable sites include, but are not limited to, those that: are aimed at children, display pornography or other illegal sexual acts, promote violence, promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age, promote illegal activities or violate intellectual property rights.

    Dang,

I know my adult site would generate enough traffic to send some joins for sure. Why are they limiting revenue? That's very disappointing.

Because they see themselves as a legitimate business. You don't see McDonalds advertising on sites that promote porn, violence, racial discrimination, or illegal activities do you? Hey, before you rape the next-door neighbor girl, take her to McDonalds!

Legitimate businesses don't want people to have that type of image of them, and that's obviously understandable.

Based on my experience, Adult sites can gain traffic even without optimizing it. Why? Because these sites are the most searched sites on the web. (Lot of perverts likes it)

Basically, linking unrelated sites is not forbidden, But linking related sites to your site added value to your site.

Link your adult traffic to one of your poker/casino sites, not directly to the program site... it further filters the traffic... if they click from there, chances are, they are golden! ;-)

Each affiliate program should have terms related to where you can and cannot advertise their product. I would check those.

Typically ads on adult sites don't convert very well for gaming sites.
