Lightbulb Motivation: How Fast Can You Create Sites ?

    Hey Folks,

This discussion relates to the smaller SEO optimized sites, mini sites or however you want to call them.

You probably enjoy taking your time when creating your sites like most of us. You write a couple of pages of content a week, add a couple of links when you get the time, spend a lot of your time thinking / chatting about it...

But If you had one day to create a turnkey site, if your life depended on it, I'm sure most of us could easily create a 20 page mini site in a day. If someone was standing there with a gun to your head with the condition for survival being a fully designed site, we would all do it. It would be tedious but feasible.

I think a lot of our time is wasted in the thinking part of new projects. Once we have a proven strategy I think we should focus on implementation. What would happen if you had the discpline to spin out a new site in a different poker niche everyday ?

Basically, get up in the morning and:

    1/ Determine a poker niche
    2/ Target specific keywords
3/ Buy a keyword rich URL
4/ Create 20 pages of content
    5/ Use Internal Linking
6/ Get some bookmarks and in bound links
7/ Install analytics and a sitemap

    Rinse and repeat.

Having this much discipline would increase our bottom line exponentially. If we had a template than most of the work would be writing the content.

If you were to host every site on a different C-class, by the end of the first month you will have 30 highly unique poker sites that you can use for getting quality backlinks for free.

I think we should have a 1 site a day challenge sometime.

    Seb

PS: Although the upfront work would be 1 day, the requirement for the sites would be long term profitability with minimal maintenance.

1 day to read 20 pages of content ?

I wouldn't expect the pages to be more than 1500 words which is already decent.

I did basically exactly what you said yesterday, except it was a ten page site. Twenty would be tough, but I think you could do it if you worked the entire day.

One technique I am trying right now is to keep on typing no matter what. After a while, you get used to it. And you only re-read your article and fix it once you've writen most of it.

Sorry man, 20 is the magic number. Just kidding.

I think what matters is that the content is unique and that you link to your unique relevant pages from your homepage (assuming it is the money page).

Yea I think this is definitely doable, I know I spend most of my time just thinking instead of actually doing. I've thought this before too, that if I was just always doing instead of thinking, I could have a ton of quality mini niche websites going.
How do you go about getting different C-class domains?? Does this cost more?

Jeremy pointed me to seohosting.com in the PAL days and they have a good service, although slightly pricey. I'm currently using them.

Honestly, if you're going to make douzens of sites do you want them all to sit on the same IP address ? I wouldn't.
