A brief intro on what the product PlayerGPS is:

One of the most exciting things about playing online poker is being able to watch your friends, family, and pros. Tracking everyone in your buddy lists on PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker can get very tedious if you are searching for each player manually on each site. How nice would it be to simply load a list of players and get alerts when they join the tables? Well, this is a product that does just that.

PlayerGPS takes the legwork out of searching for your buddies online. This web-based poker buddy list application automates the process of tracking players on PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, with more sites to be added in the future.

Once you load your list of players, the system will notify you via SMS text messages, AIM or e-mail when any of your players join the tables.

This product is unique and, fast and really works (!) and hence it should convert pretty well for affiliates.

Since the product is unique it means that affiliates should not have to worry about spending inventory on a product that has competition/better offers elsewhere.

    Thanks for posting this.

EDIT: They have changed the commission structure for the better, so my post doesn't apply anymore.

I took a glance at the affiliate program, and even though I could see myself using their product when they support some of the sites I play at, I would not promote PlayerGPS unless they improve their affiliate program.

    Commission
Apparently there are no tier for 0-10 subscribers...
There seems to be missing a tier for 301-500 subscribers, so they may just have forgotten to put in the tier for 0-10 subscribers too.

The important bits from their affiliate terms
Commissions are calculated based on revenue of paying subscribers per month...
    Commission works on a sliding scale, for example if you have 200 users then you have 50 @ 15%, 100 @ 18%, and 50 @ 20%.
    Commission calculations
Since this would be a good fit for one of my sites, I did some calculations on the commission.

    Hi

    You are right.

The tiers for 0-10 and 301-500 have been forgotten.

    Will be fixed asap

We have now changed the affiliate program according to several feedbacks we got.
Hope this is more to your liking, and thanks for all the inputs!
