    Default Acceptance for Google adwords

is there some trick for getting accepted into adwords for gambling. I've tried and failed on 5 separate occasions now. They keep insisting I am promoting gambling to non-Irish/UK areas. However, a simple search shows several business all running PPC campaigns successfully. For example, WilliamHill and various other online poker sites who obviously target a much broader audience than the Uk and Ireland are all able to run campaigns. Any thoughts?

They must have identified some inconsistency between your site's content and your campaign's setup. No matter how small you think it may be, if you're aware of an inconsistency, that may be exactly what is holding up approval.

Google doesn't like to be very specific about what it dislikes (which frustrates many people).

It's the actual acceptance into the gambling program that's the problem. I havn't even tried to setup a campaign on this account as of yet...

There I cannot help you, although it still sounds to me like they are looking at something on your site that doesn't pertain to the market you've told them you target.

Come in with a different email and a good clean topic that goog won't frown upon. Try doing it from a different IP, they could have you tracked.

Is your site a "state licensed entity"? Have you already reviewed the Google Adwords Help section about online gambling?

When I type Full Tilt Poker Bonus, etc into Google I see adword results. How do these people manage to get in there?

I have a google gambling account for rakebackpro.co.uk - i was accepted 1st time. Not sure why.

Maybe because it was a .co.uk maybe because i chose the other option as a third party or whatever they call it, maybe because i only promote rooms that are uk licenced?

Not 100% sure, however, i will look at what i did and how for you if it helps.

My site is not a state licensed entity but many of the sites appearing on Googles PPC ad space are not either. I'm confused as to how one is allowed but another site with exactly the same content in the same industry is not.
