Question How do you see PokerStars affiliate program

    Hi all.
I have been promoting PokerStars since the begining and sent around 10-15 players every month but I am still on the flat deal even I have asked for a change several times.

Is this usual? They pay what the say* and no more? On which steps or situation does PokerStars begins to pay the affiliate better?

Well being the biggest pokersite in the world, i dont think the have an urge to pay affiliates more.
There have been rumors about a MGR option being added, but the talk has been going on forever.
I would love to promote pokerstars, but im not a CPA person.

You could try and push them a little harder and hit that magic 25.

I think Stars is definitely less concerned with keeping affiliates happy/promoting them. If you think about the affiliate model objectively (pretend you weren't involved at all for a minute), it kind of makes sense. So I don't really blame them for not bending over backwards for affiliates like some rooms will. The downside for Stars, of course, is that other sites with a more work-with-you attitude have the ability to get more affiliate promotion and eventually other sites will start to climb and do better. I guess I just figure Stars' affiliate attitude is a product of the times, their culture and their dominance.

I agree 100% but you can also see that others with that attitude in their position fell on their face pretty hard. I have a feeling that if Stars is forced to adjust they will do a better job than others in their position have done in the past.

The have a nice scaled program that gets much better and more flexible if you are in that +50 group, but 15 a month is just a speck on a blip to them. If you were to hit 22-23 several months in a row I bet you could do soemthing, but 10-15 is just run of the mill lowest group.
