Default Value of a tournament review

I had a friend do a tournament review today, of hes first tournament at aced poker. He did a very long good review, and i instant shipped him 15$
What is the value of a review like that?
I guess its always good with lots of content, thats also interesting.
Do you think its worth 15$ and also do you think visitors like reading stuff like this, i know i do.

Personally, I find these things kind of boring to read. If it was WSOP or and EPT event then I'd be interested, not a $5 online rebuy tournament. But beginners might enjoy reading it.

However, if you're using it as content for your site - then for what purpose? If it's for SEO reasons, then you need to optimize the article. In fact even the title you gave isn't optimized:

    "My first tournament | OPL"

    Would be better as:

"My First Poker Tournament at Aced.com | Online Poker League"

The article should also be better formatted and use words like tournament, rather than the opening sentence which reads:

"The first thing I noticed was that I can’t make a rebuy from the beginning of the tour – only when you loose all your chips."

When reading this I was confused, tour? what tour? Oh he mean's tournament. So from a human's perspective it should say tournament, and for SEO reasons why not change it to "poker tournament".

    Just my 2 cents.

Those suckers are hard to write imo.I've done a few in exchange for stakes in larger tournaments, but I learned something. I tank when i have to write about it :O.

Then ya gotta try to keep up with the writing, with the game, all at once, oh my! lol.

But I do think they make great forum posts, they create activity, they're open to insult and critique, strategy discussion. + they give you a nice place to put affi links into a forum. Especially if the article includes strategy.

If the writer explains why he did what he did, or how he screwed up, what he could have done better..
    I write about:
    • Poker
    • Sportsbetting
    • Bingo
    • Casinos
    • Forex
    • Online Dating
    • Real Estate

I quickly glanced at it but I didn't see any usernames mentioned - lots of players google their usernames, so if you get these again be sure to have those included.
