Facebook Type Chat On PAL

Hey guys, I figured I'd open up a discussion here for the group. If there were a facebook chat available in the lower right corner that was virtually identical to Facebook's chat, would you like or dislike it.

You do have the option to be offline, busy, etc. I am an affiliate of comechat, but yet to download and install myself.

You can see the a working vbulletin demo on their site. I don't care either way, whatever the group wants. I realize the argument against it is that it would remove content from the forum. But I'm not so sure now days since almost everyone is already using some sort of messenger anyways.

Anyhow, this forum is here for all of us, so please share your thoughts. I'm always looking to improve your daily experience here.

Can we get the current errors around the site fixed first?

Come chat looks pretty cool, I'd be fine with it - but would probably turn my status to offline as I'm also even doing that with my messengers these days, trying to stay focused.

If you could somehow involve the affiliate managers then I think it would be great!

I like my chat off-site. It sounds cool in theory, but I don't really see how it is different from having our IM contact info in our profile. If people are open to chat, they share that info. Seems redundant to me.

Haven't been on the forum a whole lot recently , but I see a big potential for constant spamming and the chat detracting from good forum discussions. Maybe if it could be optional or turned off by the user. But not an open chat running on screen.

Once upon a time we had a KICK ASS RADIO SHOW that I miss. I did all my chatting there in the chat box.
