    Default Whats up with microgaming?

Just gona throw this out here. I lost my roll almost 2 years ago with battlefield who I was refereed to at cardrunners by rakeupdate.. Now it seems to have happened again I know at least 1 of you big guys still offer 45 at purple lounge. Now that im a semi affiliate im thinking what are your thoughts on this stuff?

    1st time it happened
and guess what??... they done it again

Why is there not a big deal in places like this? I mean you are the guys that gets these sites players why dont I see a single blacklist any microgaming skin anywhere? Im a new affiliate <2years but we don't hear a squeak from you guys makin bucks. Why is this brand not blacklisted yet?

Well I don't mess with microgaming rooms, I hope they go out of business. They have fucked enough people. Anyone have a list of microgaming rooms?

    I guess Pokerscout does.
Microgaming doesn't care that much about poker any more. They are happy with their casino business and you see that they don't give a damn about their skins and poker business overall. It's scary that there are only a few networks where their partners have no access to player bankrolls and don't handle payments and stuff. In my opinion a network should provide that stuff and behind this network there has to be a publicly owned company.

I feel what you are saying Wilee, but some of the most trusted brands are still on Microgaming.

Ladbrokes for example, one of the biggest books in the UK with betting shops all over.

    Unibet is another.

I promoted Eurolinx heavily because at first they were delivering faster cashouts, better customer service, and better VIP than any other skin out there. It changed and I lost thousands myself....

I can say I'm not adding any more microgaming skins unless they start holding deposits themselves like other networks. The purple lounge promoters probably aren't finding many interested players right now either.

As I said in the other thread I think we should all stop promoting anyone but Unibet and Ladbrokes. If we actively promote one of these rooms that go busto then we are endorsing those rooms as being safe to play on. If a room as big as Eurolinx goes busto then think of all the smaller sites who are handing out like 70% GGR to some affiliates. It's time we did something collectively about this as it's our responsibility as well. Luckily I never promoted eurolinx but I have a few friends who've had sizable sums taken.

Am I right, or did Microgaming also have a part in founding Ecogra?

If they'd just hold deposits this would be a non issue.

Boycott Ongame too: they didn't bail out the Futurebet players. Or just boycott every network that allows independently-operated rooms using their software.

It also seems Ongame looked the other way when Stryyke went bust although they are trying to cling to a second life on Cake.

Man I forgot about that, interesting times.

Ipoker, Ongame, and MG all did well from the affiliate stand point - take the struggling Everest on proprietary and I haven't been able to do very well.

Obviously it's expected that skins will come and go, but it just makes sense that deposits and banking in general should be handled by the network operator which has at least "less chance" of going belly up. Let the skins do what they were meant to do, find unique and interesting ways to promote and market themselves.
