Default Rooms That Make an Effort To Retain Players

I saw a thread like this recently on the CAL forums and thought it would be a good one for poker sites. Some of the rooms I promote make no effort at player retention. It's really disappointing/frustrating that some sites make so little effort at keeping players or getting dormant players to start playing again. All it takes is a simple newsletter, a reload bonus, a freeroll or anything of the sorts. One small effort made once a fortnight or even once a month could go a long way, yet some sites dont even bother sending out a monthly newsletter.

2 sites that I've been impressed with so far are Reefer Poker on the Merge network and Lucky Ace Poker on the Pacific network. Both have great AMs as well.

So what sites that you promote do their best to keep current players and get old ones back?

Chipleader does very well with this, and I'd say it seems like Sun Poker does too.

I made a small deposit on Hollywood Poker but didn't like the software, they are always contacting me to try and get me back. they are pretty good at it.

Paddy Power too, They offer me a free ticket to a game every month or so to try and get me back.

I agree also about LuckyAce they are constantly trying to get me back playing, and in my limited contact with Affiliate Managers so far Shay from LuckyAce stands out as being very proactive, and normally answers any questions in minutes.

LuckyAce gets a bad rap from overly eager AM's, I'm already promoting them and I still get new AM inquiries. It's obviously annoying but they are a good responsive and on time paying program other than that.

They also do a good job of trying to get players to the casino.

Great to know that Paddy does that, I just added them - Sun does a good job of regular emails about promotions and AP/UB will put a few bucks in dormant player accounts to get them back which I've seen have results.

Off the top of my head I don't see many other programs doing a great job with this, BetFair is a contender too I guess.

I know back in the day Party use to stick $50 or so in your account when you had been inactive for a couple months. This ALWAYS filled the table up with fish and kept people playing. I don't know if they still do this, but more rooms should IMO

Yeah definitely. I just find it so strange that I get a daily mail from an affiliate manager asking for me to work with them, but then the majority of these sites dont put any effort in to keep players at the sites. If they put half as much effort into retention as they did to spamming affiliates they'd have much better results.

Also, I remember that Party promo as well. Always got me back playing.
