Some General Housekeeping

Hey guys & gals,

Just some general housekeeping stuff here to keep you all in the PAL loop.

Summer is over in the Rock and I have decided to go back to work. I have exciting stuff in the works for the community. I'll bullet a few of the things. As always share your thoughts and suggesstions, or catch me on skype (jeremyenke).

• Aussie Millions Promo - This is being announced tomorrow, but essentially I got us a $13K Aussie Millions package just for our affiliates in this community. (Thank-you Stephen Freund!) Your players will have the opportunity to freeroll their way into the trip of a lifetime. Please support this as it was organized for YOU, and to help you give something awesome to your players. Only players referred by PAL affiliates are eligible for this deposit bonus / freeroll. Plus if you don't we'll never have another one . And if you do, other rooms will line up with great offers for PAL affiliates, even better.

• Marketplace - I realize the marketplace has always been a major part of this community, and at the same time a thorn in my side since I don't use it that much. Not to mention every upgrade I have tried to do to it = :fail. With that however I am going to roll the dice again and I'm having some custom plugins done that are a nice in-between. Those forums will not change at all, however each listing will have extra threadbits when making a post for the required info (min. offer, BIN price, PR, Age, etc.) for the given category. This will be up by the end of the week. Like DP though, there will be no closing of a thread or auction, or even a BIN button. It will just require the seller to input all the necessary info. It should help organize things much better and ensure everyone is including the pertinent info in their sales.

• PokerAffiliateListings.tv - This should be live by next week, just waiting on my new monster computer. Through Ustream I will be streaming live several times a week right from my office. Granted it could be pretty fu**** boring at times, but I imagine we will be able to have some great off the cuff discussions throughout the day about the poker affiliate market, as well as anything and everything. It should be quite the interactive experience. We'll use this for the radio eventually as well. No guarantees however about random political rants. I'll probably embed the feed in the "right sidebar" ATF so people know when it is live and there is possibly a chat going on.

• Twitter Mod and Design Work - These are probably not as urgent on the STD list (shit to do) but are there nonetheless. I want to freshen up the design at PAL. It's a year old and I think it could look sexier. I hate the shitty header and nav bar. Likewise, many of us are on Twitter and this seems like a cool app that Barry has on PokerRoad - here. I'd like to get something similar on PAL. If you know how to code this, holler I pay well.

There's more on the whiteboard, but that's it for now. As always feel free to give your suggesstions or advice on anything. This community is here for the members and to be a resource for poker affiliates, I always appreciate feedback, both good and bad.

I should also post that there is now a Sub-Affiliate Exchange as well. 2nd tier money is the best. Operators are going to hate me for putting this up. Hollaaa
