    Default Advertising?

    I'm curious about actual advertising?

If you are happy with your site and say you have optimised it as best you can as well as have a lot of content how much focus do you then put int simply advertising it.

I'm not talking about links for the sake of having links, I mean banner ads, or links on the front page of hugley trafficed sites simply in order to drive new visitors to you site?

I am pretty happy with one of my sites, the bounce rate is just over 30% and people spend an average of over ten minutes on it and look at an average of 6 pages per visit.

It's getting about 50 sign ups per month to one program and 20 to another and now I feel that I just need much more traffic.

So I'm curious to find out how much time others focus on just good old fashioned advertising, what kind of advertising you find most successful and like banner ads vs links etc?

    Kind regards

This week i would say that advertising is EXTREMLY important.....

On a more serious note, i have only just gotten to the stage where im thinking about spending a solid % of my income on advertising.
I have always focused on new sites, more domains etc. but now that i have the number of sites that suits me, and i have outsourced the article writing i feel that next step is advertisng alot more in various forms.
