    Default Full Tilt's 60-Day Rule: 18 months later

    So, it's been ~18 months since Full Tilt decided to ream their affiliates by enacting the 60-day tracking rule (background information here). For the first time in a long time, I recently ran a Player Sign-up Report and was pretty shocked at how many of our players are converting to RMPs past the 60-day cutoff.

    Full Tilt must be hard at work trying to convert the players that we sent to them free of charge.

    Right, and that's just in the first 20 days of October. Run that same report for past months and start adding it up. It's sickening.

    This. Those who keep advertising them shouldnt say anything about this matter. I respect those who dropped FullTiltPoker, as it certainly takes some courage. However I'm sure that those who did it are happy with the results.

    Maybe im idiot, maybe im naive, but I have dropped every single program that has done something idiotic like this. I currently advertise actively only 3 programs, but frankly im happy with my decisions - and results. If the site doesn't respect affiliates there really is no reason that you should respect them. People really shouldn't put up with all the shit that aff. programs try get away with.

    Like I said in another thread a while ago - I was talking to the guy who is in charge of affiliate managers, he's Aussie.

    He told me that "affiliates are only losing around 20%."

    I think he misspoke. They're only stealing 20%. Or maybe they're only benefiting from 20% of our free ads.

    ....and in their newsletter they said only 5% of players deposit after 60 days. They like to put whipcream on dogshit.

    I'll promote them as little as possible, but on my end it's an unfortunate necessity to promote them.

    What was Nell's quote?

    "This decision will not make a huge impact on your players; as based on our analysis it has been found that any player who creates an account and does not deposit within 60 days is unlikely to ever convert."

    All credibility out the window with that one...

    These terms are just unfair and unreasonable.

    Some examples of disrespect (not only from FTP):
    • 60 day rule and similar rules;
    • big minimum payments;
    • not considering rake from small stakes tables

    We should have some way to fight against those kind of terms. They basically mean that you are working hard and sending free players for them.
