    Default Simple bonus question

    Hi colleagues.

    Simple bonus question for you.

Imagine a bonus that is 200% up to $600.

Does it mean that if I deposit $600 I will have a $1200 bonus to release? Or a $600 bonus?

I was asked this from two of my users and I didn't know the answer lol.

It's usually referring to a $300 deposit giving a player $600 in bonus dollars to clear.

"up to $600" meaning that's the maximum amount. So maximum deposit of $300 gets the maximum bonus of $600.

    Hope that helps.

Not "usually" but in my experience: "always" the "up to" amount is the maximum bonus issued.

pretty much echoing what others said so far but specifying that the "usually" implied some level of doubt, and think its straight forward. So unless anyone know different /thread
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

It should be $1,200, 200% of $600. The max number (monetary) represents the total deposit amount, the 200% represents the bonus amount in relation to said deposit. That is how it has been on every single site I have played on anyway.

In short, the max they can deposit (for the bonus) is $600, and they will receive $1,200 in bonus dollars.

No jdwanchalk, that's wrong, the other posters are correct. UP TO, means exactly that....Up To $600.

Okay now we have a debate. I can't recall ever in poker it being listed this way.

Games Grid used to have a bonus 1000% up to $5000, a $500 deposit got a $5,000 bonus. For the longest time nines' bonus was 150% up to $150 and worked as a $100 deposit got a $150 bonus. These are dirt old references, but it's been a long time as a player I've went after bonuses and affiliating I haven't promoted many over 100% in a long time. Past reference though is that it was always listed as max bonus amount.

Now guess maybe it needs further explanation. I would like to see some poker examples though where it is worded as the previous post just mentioned.

Deposit up to $600, the multiplier is the percentage. I mean I can go and get history of deposits from UB to prove it. I was always given these offers in "VIP Chat", they would say "We can offer 50% up to $350" That means I can deposit UP TO $350 at 50%. I get $175 bonus dollars.

Do you expect poker sites will make the players figure out how to do an equation to determine how much the max they should DEPOSIT is to get the max BONUS?

They would need an equation like 2x = 600.

That up to $600 is referring to the max bonus amount you can receive. So if you deposit $300 you will receive $600 bonus for a total balance of $900. You might want to check with the company offering that bonus to make this is a cash bonus or a free play (sports bonus).

Also sometimes if the player is looking to deposit more than (in this case max $600 bonus) $300 let's say $1000 the company offering the bonus will credit the player with an extra bonus on the remaining balance:

    Deposit amount: $1000
Max bonus: $600 ($300 deposit will be covered by this promo)
Bonus on remaining balance $700 ( 10% for example): $70

Total balance (if this is a cash bonus): $ 1670

Another important information about bonuses are the restrictions and the wagering requirements or rollover, not all bonuses can be use on all products within the company.

Na mate your wrong there I took them bonuses all the time in your example you could deposit $700 and get $350 bonus money. I had a ton worked up until they changed the terms from never expire to 90 days.
