Does the use of their name in the URL not even matter here because you will obviously not even be promoting them anyway? I had a name with FTP in it and they demanded it be taken down. I didn't want my affiliate account closed so I did but if it wasn't for that I doubt that they would have had much recourse anyway.

I'm never going to develop it, so I suppose if they see this and want it, I'll be out the $8. I actually wouldn't want to have a money making site with a companies URL in it. Both Fulltilt and Stars have proved in the past that they'll happily let you build them out, start ranking, and then pull the carpet out from under you.

Go ask some of the people who knowingly to Stars built out marketing code sites with the words "marketing code" in the url what happened to them.

Well, I just started it and then emailed them to make sure it was ok. It was at that point that they insisted it be taken down. Of course most people wouldn't ask them I just wanted to be safe. Same with a Pokerstars domain I had. I bought them, then emailed them about what I was doing. They complained and demanded I transfer the domains to them. I just called GoDaddy and got a refund, if they want the domains so badly they can buy them on their own.
