    Default CelebPokerMoney affililate problem

Hi Im new to the forum and I happen to notice this old thread, well what happened to this guy is the exact same thing that happened to me, and I believe someone set him up like they did me.

"warning-celebpokermoney-big-bluff" (I couldnt post the link)

Only my theory is this, of course I dont have concrete proof, but heres my theory.
I post in different forums that allow the posting of affiliate links, low and behold a couple of weeks ago this new guy who uses the Nicknames "Mickey417" and "Ramman3" shows up in these forums, he decides hes going to take over these forums by posting up between 20 and 30 different posts at one time, well you can imagine no one is liking this, so instead of laying down and letting him take over the entire forum I would bump my posts back over top of his, he didnt like this.
So in order to get rid of me he went to some other forums (where he himself has been banned from for posting affilate links where it was prohibited and also pming members with his links) posted up my links knowing all along that the administators from these sites would contact my affiliate managers much like they did to his, and I would lose my affiliate accounts just like he did and bingo, some of his competiton would be gone.

Ive done some research on this guy,he was a former affiliate for Celebpokermoney just like me, and administrators from these sites contacted Celebpokermoney about his spamming and he was banned, I have his affiliate link and also his own website link, which I believe I cant post here, also I have done google searches for him and found some sites where hes the topic, and the members are complaining about his Pming etc, so the MO fits.

So my dilemna is this, the Celebpokermoney affiliate Laurence upon receiving spam reports from these forums apparently with my affiliate links, (which he would not tell me the names of these forums, he did however in one his emails to me show me a email that supposedly I had sent, I never sent or wrote this email) he immediately suspended my account and froze my earnings.
Ive sent numerous email to them, the first couple they replied and then just said it was opened and shut case, there was too much evidence against me. I tried to explain to him that this guy was setting me up but he wouldnt hear it, or really bother to listen to me.
The fact of the matter is that I didnt go to these sites and pm anybody and I didnt send them any emails, and the Celebpokermoney people wont give me the time of day, or let me even explain myself to them.
This is the only avenue I have, (which I warned him that I as going to do this) to at least recuperate the $216 that they owe me for my last months work.
And so far there has only been one other complaint to one of my other affiliate managers at this time, and I explained it to him and for the time being all is ok.
Admin Im hoping you can help me out, I can provide you with any of the corespondence Ive had with Celebpoker, or the links to the sites where I seen this guy being chastized for pming etc..

    Sincerely,

    Ibonic

Is your problem with a parent affiliate as a sub or with Celeb Poker.

To state what I've said many times, back when no one listened to me. I was stiffed by Celeb Poker for thousands of dollars and never got answers to emails. At the time they pretty much thought nothing of just staight out stop paying me and ignoring me, or were to understaffed to do anything about it. I had contact with a woman (believe name Linda Donovan - though this is off top of my head and it was years ago) who was I believe higher up at one time. i emailed her, as well as my affiliate manager (nichole or nikalet *something like this*) and even customer support on numerous occasions (I was a new to poker affiliating and this was most of my money accrued in unpaid commissions). I got several we're sorry and looking into it responses with never given any reason for the delay or anything beyond looking into it. I had been paid maybe 2-3 times then after begging for payments for a few months I gave up wrote it off and moved on. About a year later they spammed me, someone else was looking into it and he stop responding as well.

My guess on the timing was 2005.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

    Hi Everyone,

First I'd like to introduce our program to PAL, as some people might not know what we're talking about. We host Celebpokermoney, which is the sole distributor of Celeb Poker's free bankroll promotion. Sub affiliates can sign themselves up with our program to earn a nice commission for every succesfully deposited bankroll in their players' account. We review affiliates before they come into our program, and monitor their progress along the way.

Affiliates are asked to agree with our terms and conditions as is custom before signup, terms that clearly state that spamming activities will result in a suspended account pending investigation.

    On to the case at hand;

'Ibonic' has received his first warning in regard to spamming activities on the 2nd of september. We also notified him that he wasn't displaying Celebpokermoney on the affiliate site that he provided to join our program. He was able to upload our promotion, and we re-instated his account.

'Ibonic' was found to be spamming again after a few weeks, as several well respected webmasters came up to us indicating the same type of e-mail or PM. We suspended his account for the time being and started looking a little closer. In these e-mails advertisements were being made not only for Celeb poker, but several other rooms as well. Mind you, all these affiliate links were correspondent with the ones on his website. To illustrate the way of advertising, please find 3 examples below. Two of them are posted under 'Ibonic'.

[ I am unable to post links at this moment ]

Because of the above and additional complaints we have on file, we opted to terminate the existing affiliate agreement immediately. 'Ibonic' persisted into telling us that he was in fact not the one who spammed, but we have little or no reason to assume this wasn't him.

I will be available on this board to answer all questions concerning the celebpokermoney program from this moment forward. We take our reputation and service very seriously, and hope these things will not happen again.

    Kind regards,

    Laurence - Celebpokermoney affiliates

Yea CelebPoker and CelebPokermoney are not one in the same. I guess the problem here Ibonic is that it's your word against some other guys. The Celebpokermoeny T&C's do state:

that spamming activities will result in a suspended account pending investigation.
On first glance, it sounds like a turf war between 2 forum spammers, not necessarily a legitimate disagreement between 2 Celeb affiliates. If the other affiliate really did take the time to spam your links on other foums, that indeed sucks. But in reality it could easily happen again.

Your $216 is between you and them, but I'd use the whole opportunity to start looking into better and more lucrative poker affiliate business models than forum posting anyways.

    Laurence - Celebpokermoney affiliates
Ok before I address this post, I want to first start off by apologizng to Laurence for addressing this incident in an open forum,I had little or no choice in the matter to bring this incident to the forefront, this is not what I wanted, but if this is what it takes for the truth on this incident to come out then so be it.
I also wanted to say that Laurence has acted professionally in this matter and I dont blame him for actions based on the evidence he was provided with, but I know as all the evidence comes together, Laurence as well as others will see that Im totally innocent of these charges.

There has been some use of different Affiliates referral links, not only my links have been used by this perpetrator, but also the administrators links from the website "Nodepositforum.com. all Im looking for is for the real truth to come out on what happened here, and the evidence will show that Im innocent of this.

Ill first start off by giving a bit of history on myself, I have nothing to hide. Im the webmaster of the website "PokerPostit", I reside in Canada.
I admittedly post at different forums my referral links, where its allowed.

Admittedly I had a rocky start when I first became a affiliate for Celebpokermoney,I posted my Celebpokermoney referral link @ some google sites that didnt follow within the guidelines set forth by Celebpokermoney, a competing affiliate reported this, of this I'm guilty no doubt, I was also slow at posting up the banner and links on my site.

I admitted this to Laurence immediately as he will attest to, then followed from that point on the guidelines set forth by Celebpokermoney, and moved on from there with a warning. I made a mistake there and I'm man enough to take the blame for which I have done, but this second time I had nothing to do with it.

Since I originally posted in this thread new evidence has come forth that proves my innocence beyond the shadow of a doubt, thanks to the member "Pokerkeep" via the link he provided to the GWPA site posted in this thread just above this post.
Using the thread at the GWPA site I was able to follow another link which took to me another thread on the "Nodepositforum.com" site. Since then iIve been able to piece together how this whole incident unfolded. Unfortunately im unable to provide you with any of these links being that im a new member here and havent posted enough here yet to post links in my threads.
So in lieu of explaining the whole incident here Im going to copy and paste the entire post i made on the "Nodepositforum.com" which lays out how this whole mess took place

"Quote by TheRealIbonic on the "Nodepositforum.com:

Hi Belgamo, I didnt want to send you a personal message on this, I thought your whole membership should be able to read this. I want to first start off by introducing myself. I go by the nickname Ibonic and Im the webmaster @ the site "PokerPostit.com".
Ima 50 year old man and I reside in Canada, (Not Poland as the perpetrator does) . I do admittedly post at different sites my referral links where it is allowed.

I just want to set the record straight here, that I did not do this to you and your members, but I know who did it, he's the owner of this site

    "nodepositbonus.forumotion.net/forum.htm"

He goes by many nicknames "Mickey417, Ramman3, and 1Free, the way I sumised his connections to these Nicknames was by googling the nicks, finding posts he had posted with each nick and matching up the referral links, i can provide links proving all of this.

Like I said I post at different sites and a few weeks back this guy shows up out of the blue @ a few of these site and he begins posting like a crazed man. I stood up to him and confronted him and he didnt like it. So from what I can gather reading the thread here and on the GWPA site, is this.

This 1Free had a membership @ the"BonusStreak" forum under the nick Ramman3, this link here will show he has membership there, from April 2009.
    "streakgaming.com/forum/70-free-spins-tomb-raider-hitman-canbet-online-casino-another-streak-gaming-exclusive-no-usa-expired-t10541.html

He also some where along the line joined this forum, i dont have dates, im guessing he must of first started off just posting his links in your forum, this escalated to pming members with his referral links, I dont when you banned him, Im guessing at this time he decidied he was going to put the hurt on both of us.
He posted your referral links on the "BonusStreak" site under an assumed nick, and somewhere in that timeline he had the confrontation with me. He knew very well that if he went back onto your site, joined with my Nick and used my referral links that I would be in a whole world of hurt, well he was right.

Since then the following occured to me, Ive had complaints from 2 of my affiliate employers. The first one is Celebpokermoney, here the manager suspended my account and froze my earnings, the other one is YourPokerCash has given me a warning that if I was to do anything like this again I would be immediately terminated.

Im sorry that this person if you want to call him that ,has used your affiliate links and posted them on the "BonusStreak" site to try to get you in trouble. But as you can see he has done the exact same thing to me and all I want to do is set the record straight with everyone involved and move on.

Ive also started a thread at the following forum, the reason being is that I tried to resolve this incident with the Celebpokermoney manager but he wouldn't give me the time or answer my emails, so I had no choice but to go to a open forum to prove my innocence.

    "pokeraffiliatelistings.com/forums/general-poker-affiliate-forum/6828-celebpokermoney-affililate-problem.html"

    Sincerely,

    Ibonic "end of Quote"

Ive also since been in touch via telephone with the administrator of the "Nodepositforum.com" he goes under the nick "Belgamo", we had a nice converstation discussing the matter at hand and agree this fellow whoever he is needs to be reprimanded for what he has done to both of us.

As far as my account being frozen and my pay withheld from Celebpokermoney, I'm hoping Laurence will reinstate me as an affiliate and pay me my earnings as usual, as the evidence proves that I did not do this.

I appreciate everyone who has put time into this and Im hoping we can put this to be bed and life can continue on as usual.

    Sincerely,

    Ibonic

    Hi Ibonic,

The name 'Ibonic' has been all over the web for a while now as Pokerkeep was able to find out, and the things you provide me with as 'proof' seem very questionable.

Even though the allegations from nodepositforum.com were published on the 24th of october, you have decided to come out with this rectification / apoligy at nodepositforum.com on the 11th of november - after the discussion was taken to PAL and it became clear nothing was going to change.

You opted to engage in forum postings and advertising in google groups from the beginning, instead of uploading Celebpokermoney to the portal you have submitted for our affiliate program. I think this is something that definately doesn't help, as it really seems that you've simply taken it too far and are now looking to bend the situation in your favor. As any decent affiliate program should, we will always be receptive to explanations from our affiliates after they have engaged in some kind of wrong doing that might be based on a misunderstanding. However, in this case we have little or no reason to believe that 'Ibonic' was not engaging in spamming activities that caused direct harm to Celeb Poker, Celeb Poker Money as well as the poker communities that are involved.

    Kind regards,

    Laurence - Celebpokermoney affiliates

I just want to reiterate what I said in an earlier post, and this is that I don't blame Laurence or Celebpokermoney one bit for their actions on suspending my account based on the evidence that was provided to them. This being said I'm happy to report that Celebpokermoney has paid me the money owing me for services rendered, I would like to thank them for this, and I know if they probe a little further into the the events that occured @ the "Nodepositforum.com" they will find that the use of my referral links were by a rogue affiliate based out of Poland. Also if Celebpokermoney was to have me as an employee again I would represent them again without hesitation, as they are a Poker Brand that any affiliate in my mind would be proud to represent. Sincerely, Ibonic
