    Default Credibility in promotion

One thing you should notice when scanning affiliate sites is the gross misrepresentation of the "best" or "top" poker sites. Sometimes opinions can't be outweighed by the facts. Full Tilt is often an affiliate's "top" site. This throws all of their credibility out the window.

Full Tilt SUCKS, to say the least. The ONLY two things they have going for them are large players pools and name poker pros. Their support is horrendous (some of the worst anywhere), payouts are mediocre at best, competition is much stiffer than many other sites, security department is run by incompetent monkeys, if you are doing rakeback they are the lowest out there, the deposit bonus is near the bottom of the list, their player program is very weak. And on and on and on.

So this turned into a bit of a rant about FTP, but they are the poster child for sure.

Unless your player plans on being a rakeback pro FTP is not the best choice. A site like Stars or even AP/UB (new ownership since the scandal, so don't even bring that up) are MUCH better than FTP.

I guess my question is whether this even matters. I have decided to be honest in my assessments and give players actual, truthful advice. Not sure if this will mean anything in the long run, I guess I was just frustrated by all of the poker sites getting promotion they truly don't deserve.

Remember this though...Full Tilt doesn't give a shit about its players (and I doubt its affiliates either).

I agree with you that full tilt dont deserve to get promoted as good as many affiliates do now. From my point of view this affiliate program is one of the worst out there!..60-day rule, HUGE deductions from revenue every month..they dont even have a casino where you perhaps could make some extra money.

On many of my sites they got the top-spots...but now every time a update one of my sites I move them down from the top spots and replace their banners from premium places...plenty of other better programs out there..especilly if youre targeting the European market

The "best" and "top" sites is completely suggestive, and it can take into account a lot of factors, including your target market. I promote FullTilt as a top site on one of my sites because I target brand new players - players that can recognise the brand immediatly. Players need to be told where to sign up, and it helps when they already know the brand.
