Default Poker Affiliate Payments Separate From Poker Room Please!!!!

Can we please separate affiliate payments from poker room payments.

I see no reason in signing up to the poker room just to be able to get paid. I also do not want to risk gambling away my money!!

Why can't any affiliate program do this. Why can't we cash out from the affiliate program and just be sent a check instead of the cash sent to the poker room and then cashed out.

Does any affiliate program do this?

I know exactly what the reason is since I worked on the Affiliate Speedpay project. I agree 110% that as affiliates we are running a business and shouldn't have to get paid into players accounts. This is stupid.

Unfortunately, the resistance I ran into with operators is that many want affiliates to play with their revenue. As an operator this creates more liquidity and overall profits to them.

Think of it like this. Let's say an operator pays out $1M a month in affiliate payments. To utilize a system like Speedpay, they are probably going to pay 1%-2% processing fees. ($10K-$20K) per month. Instead they could just dump all that money into players accounts and see that money circulate into the poker economy and their rake.

This sucks, but it is the reality for many operators.

    Here is a novel idea...

WHY NOT GIVE AFFILIATES A CHOICE???

Can you imagine if you worked at Walmart and your pay was given to you each week in the form of a Walmart Gift Card? And...if you wanted cash, you would have to pay a fee and then wait 2 extra weeks to get the cash...

Affiliate payments are fine to player accounts, just have quick easy and cheap cashout options.

Something like 15 days or LESS should be industry standard.

For us, we offer ASP and player accounts. I would love to offer our own processors, but since we are a skin, our hands are tied.

I can and have, blocked affiliates for playing with their funds if they so please. Merge has great processors, so I think its actually an advantage for us to offer player account payments.

That's a good option for some people. I have a tendency to blow some of my money mainly on casino games.
