Default Someone stole my entire site

Well this may be the most interesting story you will here for awhile...

It all starts when I call GoDaddy for some help a few months back, the guy helps me and then asks what my site (onlinepokerlocator.com) was. He then proceeds to tell me that he is starting his own site on the Everleaf network. We talk for a little while and he sends me an email with his Skype name.

We had been talking just a little off and on via Skype. His poker room is TripleXPoker.com Anyway, today I look in Google Analytics and notice I had a link from "bestonlinepokerreviews.com" I figured maybe someone linked a strategy article from the site, well, it was more than that.

My entire layout was ripped from top to bottom. He messed it up a bit, but it was my site fucked up to his liking.

Here is my site's screenshot (note that I don't actively work on this site and it was more or less just sitting there for a bit)...

    My site:

    His site:

Then he decided to just copy 100%...

    My site:

    His site:

    My site:

    His site:

Sorry for the bad sizing of the second pics. Here is the Skype conversation from a few minutes ago...

When I first asked him about it he said "?" and pretended like he didn't know. Then he claimed that he only stole a "few" and that he re-did them, but the truth is that he took 15+ and they were word for word.

I am going to call GoDaddy now, I don't think they all of all companies should employ someone like this.

He took it down now, but he knew damn well what he was doing so I am not going to let it go.

Wow. That's pretty pathetic. Rip his face off.

I spoke to GoDaddy, they had me forward everything I had and said that they will deal with it but can't disclose what happens to him.

Any use contacting Everleaf? Maybe no reason they care eh?

bestonlinepokerreviews.com redirects to godaddy now. So maybe the problem is solved.

If you still have the guys aff-links you perhaps also should contact the affiliateprograms and hope that they terminate his accounts if he put the site back up

I am not so sure they were his affiliate banners, I think he stole them from me too. I guess he made the site to pimp his poker room.

I highly approve of your avatar change.

And from the looks of that Skype convo it looks like he instantly took it down so I wouldn't worry about it too much. He's obviously not to be trusted though, I'd block him on Skype and just cut off the relationship at this point.

Update, got this Skype message from the guy who stole it today...

"Hope you have a short life"

I call this a success as he almost certainly was fired, which then prompted this message.

I just replied with "Woteva" as Bruno would and he surely was put on life tilt.

    I never use smileys but,
