    Default Chipleader Chargebacks Thread

Apologies in advance if this is against the rules, but I had a lengthy question/asnwer session with one of the Chipleader AM's, which was very informative, discussing how Chipleader Chargebacks currently work. The dialog was on another board (CAP), and here it is:

I have read the interview and the "to-date" responses. Here is what I don't understand...

I am getting players who are listed as Chargebacks over several months. Does that mean they made multiple chargebacks? Or does it mean the total in chargebacks is spread over a number of months? I don't understand how 1 player can have 6 straight monthly chargebacks for example?

The reason I am saying this is I have players (after asking for reports from my AM) that are getting chargebacks more than one month.

Also - the NEW WAY OF CALCULATING will really suck if there ends up being some huge chargebacks! Why make things worse? I have a feeling that if the chargeback is ever resolved, affiliates won't see things reversed on their end.

Their communication sucks period. I have three emails in (I just send the same one every day now) to Danielle who never bothers to answers simple questions.

Such a difficult job she has, gtfo.

I guess it's not super fast but it's not like they are ignoring me. Then again, I'm not spaming their inbox with the same email everyday like numnuts up there.
I get replys and I also dont send them many emails either I hardly ever email AM's but thats the the problem I find with them I find stuff dont get resolved or they dont give you a straight answer.

Wow just read this thread and just wanna say grow up! Seriously, this thread is beyond ridiculous on all levels from almost everyone involved. Stop anatagonizing each other.

FYI - Theres a really cool tool in VB that allows you to ignore each other. If you dont like the person and cant stop yourself...that ignore feature might be a good option.

Edit - Im gonna suggest to the other mods that all the trash talk in this thread be deleted since its totally off topic and irrelevant to what OP was asking. Ive used a soft delete now...since people get upset with mods removing stuff. If Jeremy wants he can reinstate the posts, however Im asking that the bickering stop until he's had a chance to look at it.

This isn't related to chargebacks but I've had great results emailing support @ chipleader.com. I've sent a total of 4-5 emails over the last 4-5 days and have received a sameday reply each time. Though twice they have wrote me back and referred to me as someone else (different name each time), kinda disturbing. It took that many emails because whatever I put into a bulleted list gets jammed together when they read it for some reason so I've had to resend emails twice now. Overall though support has been fine.

It's really hard to say. Over the last 6 months, I have had several Chargebacks for the same player that extended over multiple months, due to the fact that many thousands of dollars were involved. So, that might explain one of your situations - perhaps Chargeback carryover from one month to the next. On the other hand, I have had a Chargeback for a player for a couple of months in a row. From the posted discussion, the players can have Chargebacks for a rolling 6 month period, so if the player was "duping" the system for this long, without getting caught, it is possible.

I hope that the promised Chargeback report, is detailed enough to explain all this, so at least the #'s all add up in the reports. Chargebacks, rakebacks, deposit fees, etc.....tough times in the wonderful world of online Poker.

I've had good experiences as well. I think the key, like in any other business, is to send civil Emails, and resist the temptation to trash. I know it is frustrating at times, not getting the straight scoop, but the AM's are the monkey-in-the-middle, and I think that they have tough times getting info from mgmt often. If I don't get a timely response (which I usually do, by the way), I usually send the same Email again, and then usually get a timely reply. I think they are deluged with Emails, and may let some drop between the cracks, that aren't friendly in nature. You have to know when to pick your battles, especially when your only recourse for contact is Email. Just my 2 cents.

That was my point exactly. I haven't had any issues getting a response from chipleader. My only real complaint with them is that the chargebacks aren't listed in their backend so you never really know how much you are going to be paid.
