I"m pretty sure I know the answer to this one but thought I'd see if anyone here has done the YouTube partnership thing.
I posted a poker video early this year, and it's got a little over 82K views.
Around the 75K mark when I signed on I got an invite to a YT partnership.
While I'm not sure if the income from a single video would amount to anything (altho I have four more in the 30-45K view range), I'm hesitant to go ahead with it as it is of course the intellectual property of ESPN.
At the same time YouTube is chock full of other people's/corporations/sports channel's intellectual properties, so I'm wondering if I should go ahead and apply for the partnership thing or would it be risking having the video disappear, which would be a pain 'cause I get traffic to FT from the video and the channel it's on.
Thanks for any input.
