Pokerstars Payment Options (US)

With the PAW transfer complete, I now need to make my first cash out from the poker client (wtf?) and it is defaulting to a check by mail. I must have deposited with this method the last time I played there 5 years ago?

Those of you who are US affiliates, what is the best way to withdraw from Pokerstars, how long should I expect payment, and how do I change my preferred payment method?

I have always done check by mail.. it takes maybe a week to arrive. I see they just added wire transfer, so I'm going to try that out next month.

In the past the wire transfer would only show up on accounts with prior activity, in other words you would need to prove that your account was safe enough for PokerStars to allow a transfer. So only one of you might see that as an option.

Affiliates should probably be granted that option regardless of prior deposit activity, but Stars is the one room where checks are 100% fine by me anyways (free, no fees, fast, not shady).

Yeah, to clarify, I've never deposited via wire transfer, so this may be a new option they are phasing in.

I always get checks (to US). They used to pay first week of month, but now pay towards end of month. Once paid, less than a week to get check - no fees.

Hey, how come I don't see a PokerStars option for PAW cashout? Do you have to request it?

I only have Full Tilt and Party as my poker room client withdraws.

Edit - It appeared in my account today. I'd even checked earlier today and it wasn't there.
