Any ideas why this does not convert.

Hey guys,

I have several sites that have been converting average to slightly above what i had expected. However I have one program that i cannot for the life of me figure out why it will not convert. I have tried everything, and even got them to make a custom landing page to help conversions.

its been 2 months, and its on my home page. It gets hits, but no converts.
In the 2 months it has been there it has only 1 convert.

My other programs have been there for less time and have well over 50.

Reason i am asking, is i am considering ditching it, but i don't know if i should just yet as my AM said it will take time for them to "warm" up to it.

The thing is my other sites dont offer the instacash bonus, and they do better. I cant figure this out.

Plus i now have a USA poker site with a huge amazing deal i want to promote to all my members, and another site i am working for. I think this section should be used for that space as this just does nothing.

Maybe i could put it on a sub page, i guess.

ANy ideas?? why this cant convert?

Well the "Freeroll on November 29th" needs updated

Other than that - I'd assume your players are visiting the site based on the "Royalty Package Offer" already listed? If so, I'd see if you can get the landing page changed to just that. You've told the players why to go, so they shouldn't need anything else to sell them, like the promotionals/instant play tabs. Even the customer support stuff. If they want to find all that out then they can look around themselves, but they're going there for one specific reason, so the landing page should be more direct. All those banners and animations just make it look gimmicky.

Bad analogy here - but say I was a best buy employee, and told you "Hey buy this DVD player at best buy, and get $30 back". So you want the DVD player, plus the $30, so you go into the store. Then before you can even look around you have all these people saying to you "Not only do we have that deal but we offer this deal too!" and "Customer support is here if you need it!" and "You don't even have to come into the store, you can buy online!!!". I mean it gets to a point where you'd be like "Fuck this - I know what I want, and all these other people are just putting me off". As I said bad analogy, but hopefully gets my original point across

This may be a factor or it may not but the landing page takes a very long time to load (I'd guess 10-30 seconds for most people). I would clean it up a bit if possible, simple and direct always works good.

I didn't have the loading problem, 3 seconds tops for me - just saying.

No comment at the moment on anything else as I really didn't look (yet).

That landing page is crazy busy. It is literally impossible to figure out where to click to download the software unless I hover over different parts of the page and look for the address that ends in '.exe'. If I landed on that page, I'd say there would be a 90%+ chance that I would stare at it for about 10 seconds, then close the window.

yes, the page is a little over the top and hard to focus on any area. If you want to keep the program then I recommend having another landing page to just download the poker client. Also for redkings.com itself I'm not sure if I like the site. I would say there are a lot of poker players out there who have pokerstars and tilt on their computer, maybe a few others. So when they come to this site my guess is they might get scared off. I don't know what network they are on but seem to have a lot of players. Is there another skin on the same network you can promote?

Last is ask others who have promoted this site and see if they have conversion issues as well.

Last comment about redkings, they have the firepay logo on their site. Firepay has been out of biz for maybe 2 years now and www.firepay.com has a page saying they have closed.

Wonderful. Thanks for the comments. I figured it was crazy busy as well. I am going to try and get them to change it.

This is the landing page they created at Redkings so i hope to give them some feed back to make changes.

I have other landing pages that work way better, it does seem to busy.

Also will update the freeroll Dealer Dan.

RedKings is on the ongame network, and yes i offer Bwin as well on that network, which has brought me great converts.

It seems to me when you offer to many bonuses it scares the away.

With my bwin i dont offer anything and already 43 users. In less than 2 months..

Yeah ithink i am removing for a top USA site. Got one lined up so you guys have helped me decide.
