    Default BetFair Payment Problems Anyone?

I've been tried to get paid by Betfair after winning a September contest, it's now December and I'm getting all the same classic excuses about the wire was returned, it's normal for a two month delay in first payment, etc etc.

I'm wondering, is anyone out there actually getting paid by Betfair? Are they in trouble? I can't see what the problem is wiring out a few hundred bucks and I'm ready to blacklist them over it. AM has been helpful, but helpful with excuses.

The way this was handled really pissed me off so I removed them in October which left a random small amount in my account but the contest winnings was a couple hundred pounds and I've got run around after run around about it up to and including 1. claiming payment went out and then 2. saying it was returned (even though I reconfirmed all my payment details were correct).

Anyways, the hell with them and anyone else who can't pay us such a trivial amount!

Why would I want to send any company like that MORE business? Not to mention horrible conversions and retention, and the few good players you get will be at the betting exchange where terms and conditions remove them from your account after a year anyways (predatory terms in my opinion).

We stopped promoting them because we were unable to collect payments (wire is apparently the only option - even for non-US affiliates). We've now got a balance of several hundred british pounds, and no way to get it home.

Unfortunately, when they do send wires, they do not send the funds through a clearing company at all - they come directly from BetFair Limited. Which is why wire payment is not an option for us. Too easy for the bank to connect it to IG.

FWIW, they don't seem to interested in trying to find new payment solutions as this has been going on since early this year for us.

Glad I'm not the only one, I feel silly complaining about a small payment like this but the run around has been so stupid I'm sure BetFair has invested more time and $$$ in giving me excuses than it would have taken them to just payout, now I'm dealing with a "remittance department" as if I really care too!

It was kind of cool to win the contest since I wasn't promoting them, at the time I would have increased exposure but after seeing how this was handled I could care less to ever promote them again, especially as I mentioned with the unfair terms and conditions where you only get to keep a player for a year in the betting department.

I just sent the otherwise helpful AM an email to forget it, the relationship is over. I could have made more money in the time I spent chasing this stupid crap around.

My advice to any new affiliates - stay away. That's all.

You know what the stupid part of this whole thing is?

The contest itself was for dormant affiliates, since I had an account but wasn't promoting them I saw the email saying the top five returning affiliates with most new rmps win xxx or whatever, took advantage of my traffic and won the damn thing for some extra money only to be not paid yet in (almost) January, for a september contest!

Even though they claimed to send the money I never even actually saw it in my available player balance nor my lifetime earnings either, so it appears the whole thing was a sham.

So, they won my business with what I'd consider a nice incentive and promotion - and HAD my plans to give them more business after winning, but then lost me forever due to non payment 3 months later. I'm also glad that throughout this I found out the predatory rule of removing betting players from your account after a year, as a MGR affiliate I find that ridiculous.

Anyways that's my entire .02, I'm sure others are happy promoting them but I got my negative press out for all the time wasted on my end. Fuckem.

I had an issue before which they fixed with payment, but now everything seems to be smooth. Just got my payment a couple days ago.

I never had an issue with them either, there are silly people in every company though. Sounds like you just got unlucky and got the silly one.
