Not checking stats this month

For 4 years I used to check my stats at least two times a week.

This month I don't wanna check at all till February, 1st. And just work.
Its hard but I hope I can make it.

I'm talking about $ commission not traffic (which I don't check that much anyway considering im penalized).

That takes a lot of discipline, I have Stats Remote running 24 hours a day lol.

I say the same thing every month, but the first thing i do every morning after answering emails is to check all stats for about 25 different programs.

Lenny you are like me promoting so many programs, plus I have adsense and some non gaming affiliate networks - you should def get StatsRemote. Doesn't work perfect but a nice general idea and it's fun to let it run and watch the swings all day long, well worth the $30 a month in entertainment value alone.

I agree wholeheartedly with MJ, StatsRemote is pretty awesome. I've used it for 4 or 5 years across multiple verticals and I would hate to be without it.

As for the OP not checking stats for a full month.... I know I couldn't do it.

I never check my stats. Just check to see how much i got paid - even this I don't do for months on some rooms. However I check my domain parking stats obsessively, even though the amount I make from domain parking is pennies compared to what I make as an affiliate. Guess I'm just bored of being a poker affiliate...

There was a great section in Fooled by Randomness on this - having to do with how often people check their stock portfolios. He suggested it's best to check them as infrequently as possible. Unfortunately I can't heed this advice with my stocks either lol
