Default Affiliate programs for poker tools/software

    Morning all,

Can anyone recommend me any good affiliate programs for selling poker tools and software. I guess I'm thinking of things like Poker Tracker, Calculatem Pro and the like.

Which tools are worth promoting? And which have decent affiliate programs?

    Cheers,

PokerTracker and HoldemManager have half-affiliate programs where you buy in bulk for a discount and sell them on. HoldemManager are slightly more flexible and have better discounts the more you sell.

PokerOffice - I would never affiliate with these again. I'm confident that they either didn't track properly or just flat out didn't credit me with sales. This was the top promoted software on a few of my sites and software with much lower ratings would sell 10x more.

SuperPokerAffiliates run a really good affiliate program. They work for Calculatem, SNG Shark, Holdem Genius and a bunch of other popular names. Their commissions are kinda low though if your visitors buy the product straight up. About ~$15 for a direct sale but ~$60 if they sign up to a poker room for it. Good support and never a problem with payments.

Pokerbility had a surprisingly good affiliate program. $50 per sale and I sold more than I expected to.

SNG Wizard is apparently good for SNG traffic. I don't send much their way at all but I know Planet_Mark has been very happy with them IIRC.

Sure, SNG Wiz pay first almost every month... this (or similar) is a must have for SNG grinders, conversions are not huge as a % - though I believe much of this can be attributed to the 30 day free trial (far too long, IMO people lose enthusiasm for SNGs fast if they do not see instant results). Should also add that payments are low ($20) and I also personally believe that the ICM calc functionality will become free over the next years... but cool for now.

Also promote Calculatem + SNG Shark, slow but steady there... SPA are reliable payers with good tracking software too.

Pro Poker Labs bring me steady sales, the 'tournament shark' seems popular. Great support, though you'll need to e-mail to request payment.

Omaha Indicator is a more recent addition for me... $40 a shot commission, helpful team (I always send a 'daft question' first to test the waters and they were great!) +prompt payments. Not sending too much traffic yet, so steady sales, plan on extending coverage of this.

100% agree with Greg on Poker Office... dropped them after sending a ton of traffic over 18ish months and getting zero sales. Have my suspicions that this program is somehow broken, but to be honest have moved on to better programs so not so bothered anymore.

Would love to see a proper affiliate program for HEM / PT3 - IMO those guys are losing out on the 'enthusiastic beginner' market but sticking to rep / serious players alone to sell their wares!

    Hi Mark

I remember you complaining in your blog plaentgong about the 30 day-trial of SnG Wizard. Up to now, I have had 20 downloads and 0 registrations :-(

I had asked the Holdem Manager support about an affiliate program. They always replied very quick to my e-mails and said that they are overhauling thier affiliate program.
However, in September they told me they will launch it in November, and in November they told me they will launch it in December.
I don't want to email them again, but I am still hoping that they will launch a CPA affiliate program soon...

I'm glad you mention PTR. I'm actually making them the spotlighted program today, and will be inviting their AM Sam to the thread to introduce himself and answer any questions you may have. Stand-by

Looking forward to this as I looked at their program the other day and had some questions.
