Is Online Marketing Better Then Offline Marketing?

I only focus on online marketing but have thought about offline marketing. Anybody have any ideas to test out offline?

The only thing I could think of is make business cards with poker room logo, bonus details with my bonus code, poker room url, and my main website url. Place the business cards in poker books. Haven't done it yet. (keyword being yet) Has anyone done this successfully?

thats a good start to make some bussiness cards, ive also hade an idea to make stickers with all my site info. Where do you think would be the best place to stick them?

I don't know how well stickers would work and how big would they need to be before there seen. Are they car stickers for example? I don't think book shops or infact most places would take too kindly to having stickers placed on their goods.

Business cards are always a good idea, have them in your pocket at ALL times, you never know who you may bump into. There are so many people who play poker nowadays, just bring the subject up and you'll soon have the opportunity to do some face to face marketing.

Business or Bonus cards are low cost and pretty effective.

Best offline marketing is sponsoring local pub games etc, add a little prize money or offer a trophy for a league winner, something along those lines will work well.

I've heard Stars and Full Tilt do offline marketing.....

Its a numbers game. Online you have access to hundreds of thousands or millions of viewers. Lots of times you can laser target these users. Offline you'll have a much harder time marketing to the segment that is interested in your topic.
