Hey everyone. I know we've discussed this before but I had a couple follow up questions. I'm not looking for "legal advice" just looking for your opinions or maybe a thread that discusses what you do.
My main question is in the naming of the LLC. I've read some tips that say you should just name it "Your Name LLC" so checks can be written to you. But it also seems like it might be of some benefit to name the LLC a little more discreetly not using your name/nickname anything. For instance, as the business grows there is potential to "sell" the entire business... "XYZ Services" would be more appealing to someone than "Knup Services"... Right???
Am I overthinking this? Is there any rhyme or reason to naming your business?
Also, I'm assuming when I create an LLC all forms of "making money online" can be included under this umbrella LLC. From my freelance writing adventures, to my design work, to my affiliate revenue, internet marketing money, etc... I don't have to go so far as to create separate businesses for each of my "business ventures" on the web do I?
Hope this made some sense and really look forward to your feedback. I have created an LLC before so I'm confident thats the road I'm going to take. Just trying to answer some questions about how it applies to the online/affiliate world.
Thanks!
Knup
