I got an email today from Felt Stars - Online Poker Room - Awesome name obviously lol - Looks like they are on merge and I actually like their website, but I've never heard of them so I thought I'd see if anyone has dealt with them or has any info

Never heard of them but I LOL'd at that. Their 7 day average is 270 real money ring table players. There are over 30 skins (32 I counted) so that means if you spread the players out evenly there are around 8 real money players at each skin at any given time throughout the day. At this rate they will need around 32,000 skins to reach the traffic levels at Pokerstars lol. I'm pretty burned out today so I probably calculated that all wrong but in any event the numbers are still terrible. It seems like they have even lost traffic since they started renting their software out to anyone willing to pay the $19.99/month (or whatever it is) fee.

Yeah I'm hearing Carbon is about to do some cool stuff, and I really hope its mind blowing. I took down all merge rooms I promoted except PDC, Cabron, and Reefer - I do still have Aced on a few sites, but they seem to have fallen off the map.

Brandon? Can we expect ACED to do anything soon? Something cool or something.

Anyway yeah merge overall just is disappointing over the last year. I dunno what to do with them, hell we have a massive thread on here somewhere Kaus started giving a TON of great suggestions to the merge network. Doesn't seem like they cared to listen. I just dunno how they make it, and I dunno how long they can keep it up with the traffic numbers.

there were felt stars guys down at the southern poker championship in biloxi when i was there last week. All dressed up in their gear and one of the dudes has more money than sense, lol. Dropped like 20k in all sorts of bills (fives, tens, twenties up to hundreds) on the craps table and it took the craps dealer like seriously 15 minutes to count it all... Then the guy in the felt stars gear who threw all the money on the tables gets the chips and asks his buddy... "Hey, what's this pass line mean." Either it was an impressive level or this dude was just loaded.
