Ipoker and deductions

I just had a conversation about Ipoker and how their skins calculate your revshare commission.

We seem to disagree about what the "standard" way to handle player bonus deductions on the Ipoker network is...

1: Bonuses are deducted from the rake before your commission is calculated
Commission = revshare%*(rake-bonus)

Example
I'm on 30% revshare. A player signs up and clears a 100$ bonus while paying 200$ in rake.

0.30*(200$-100$) = 30$

2: Bonuses are deducted from your commission
Commission = (revshare%*rake)-bonus

Example
I'm on 30% revshare. A player signs up and clears a 100$ bonus while paying 200$ in rake.

(0.30*200$)-100$ = -40$

What is normal, and what method would you expect to be used when you sign up as an affiliate?

Gross revenue (Rake + side games income) - Administration fee (27%) - Bonus payout (+ Bonus retracted) - Fraud costs and charge-backs = Net revenue
