Default New game on FulltTilt - Rush Poker

In case those of you promoting FT haven't seen this new game yet. Looks interesting and given the speed of the game probably equates into a nice rake contribution.

Wow, that is sure as hell an interesting game. I'm going to try it myself today.

I wonder how they continue calculating within the dealt rake method like this as you leave hands and they play themselves out?

My first thought was, "this is going to be great for rakeback", but after playing it for the last hour I think it's quite the opposite. Besides a bit of motion sickness it was a blast to play and very addicting. I didn't want to leave the table.

The thing is, the game helps players play super tight so most hands don't see a flop. And the hands that do go to a flop are played pretty passively from then on. The reason being, no one wants to waste time on a marginal hand when they can keep clicking "Quick Fold" and wait for a big pair or AK/AQ.

Marginal hands like A10o are so much easier to fold to a raise or in early position. Whereas, I would sometimes play these types of hands out of boredom before.

So, what you see is lot more action on big hand vs big hand. You can steal blinds a lot easier, but there's no real money in that in NL. Also, there's no chance of getting reads on people. Most people gave up when their big cards missed the flop, so you can often take the pot away in position.

Despite shipping my stack to a guy early with AK vs AA, I managed to make $5 at the $10 NL tables.

It would be cool to see how a bad beat jackpot would affect people's play. I think it would encourage a lot more action.

Wow, its fast. I 'd say one table is over 200 hands per hour. I noticed the play is alot tigher in early position.

I just played 294 hands in under an hour lol crazy

It's definately a draw for recreational players who want some fun and faster-paced action, but serious players won't be running to play Rush Poker.

It takes reads etc out of the game, I mean for instance lets say you are seated and faced with an all-in.. the guy could be going all-in every hand lol

Anyway, definately crazy and pretty addictive one you start. Overall I think it's cool. If players want to play against the same opponents and get reads then they can... Rush Poker is just another option for fun imo

Serious players go where the casual players are.

lol well I know what you mean, but I can't see many successful players giving up their reads etc to play different players every hand. Just my opinion
