Edit*** German Translations Issue Resolved with Ferberts

With reference to this post : Translations EN-GER Special X-mas Offer I have now digged more into this matter.

In short :
I ordered a translation-task from "Ferberts"...After a couple of days Ferberts sendt me the first of several pages of the translation-task (a review of x-pokerroom translated to German).

I then ordered some more reviews and pages to get translated.
Early last week he emails me and says that all the translation is finished, and he would like to know if I want to order more, or pay now and perhaps order more later.

We make an agreement that i pay by moneybookers and then he will send me the translated files, as I would like to get my german site up and running before I order more.
He then supply me with the moneybookers email address I need for payment, and a make the payment short after

After that I hear nothing from him! No files send, no replys to email or pm...after several emails im now convinced that i got scammed

I have now digged in too the email addresses he have send from and the moneybookers email. I tryed to search the email trough Facebook and it belongs to a "Tim Heath". This is the same guy that are involved in RakebackEngine as you can see here
He´s facebook profile btw also mention rakebackengine.com under contact-information.

Also the email he used for the moneybookers payment have an adress like this XX @ heathmont.net.
When you go to heathmont.net you can see they also are involved with RakebackEngine, translation/content servic etc.

In other words I have send money to a rakebackengine employee for a translation task that he took/stealed and run.

What does RakebackEngine have to say about this??

If they scam an affiliate for an amount of a little over $500 I would be very cautions of using RakebackEngines product!

**EDIT** Issue resolved - QUALITY translations were delivered to both parties and any miscommunication errors were addressed and resolved.

As soon as they see this I'm sure they will comment, Tim and RakebackEngine on a whole are stand up company so I have no idea what is going on, but I bet it will be solved.

Hope this isn't true, just ordered some translations from him as for a 20,000+ word job. However, I think Ferberts is someone else - not Tim Heath, who actually owns Rakeback Engine. Tim has always been a great affiliate to work with and has always paid upfront for work he's contracted with me in the past actually.

I could've sworn Ferberts is the guy who was looking to sell a casino affiliate account here a few weeks back that was make mid-4 figures a month, but didn't find any takers. I've talked with him before on Skype and he seemed like a stand-up guy. I haven't paid him for the translations yet, as I normally would like to see them and have someone else proofread them before I pay.

I'll see if I can get in touch with him and chime in on this thread.

This Ferbets guy signed as Ronny Scholz in all the email and PM he sendt to me. But when it came to payment he gave me Tim Heath´s emailaddress for the moneybookers payment. So either he is Tim Heath or someone close to him!

He may be an employee - but I know his email is not anything close to Tim's. PM me and I'll shoot it over to you if you want to get in touch with him. He got in touch with me on Saturday to let me the translations were coming along nicely. I wouldn't now anything about MoneyBookers and his payment addy though since I'm in the US and we're not allowed to use that as a payment option anymore.

Tim's in australia at the moment, so is due to wake up real soon. I'll let him know about this thread. For what it's worth Tim Matt and Andrea at rakeback engine all have access to all of my poker accounts and email, and so could steal money from me at any time, but it's ridiculous to think that they ever would. It would be far easier for them to just not pay me the regular payments that they send me which are well over $500, but again, it's an unimaginable concept. I'm sure that this is some sort of mix up which will get resolved.

one of our skins asked if i could swap some funds from moneybookers to neteller.

i had $546 arrived into my moneybookers (from an email address i'd never seen) and he told me to then send this onto his neteller.

i'm not privy to anything about the business you two have conducted, or why it was needed to swap or anything else!! i run a money swapping business online and regularly am moving money around (at a charge for many people. PokerCashOut.com.

I'm sorry to hear that you have been scammed - however 100% guarantee that I have nothing to do with it!! i will contact the relevant parties now. if he has scammed your money and is a client of ours, i'll get his side of the story as well, but happy to mediate between you guys, and i will help you get your money back.

as for when i've ordered translations work, i pay 100% up front to my translators and i suppose thats why everyone is happy with having rakebackengine as a client!!

Yeah just to reiterate I've worked with the Rakeback Engine guys for over a year now and they are great guys. Never once had a problem with any dealings at all and there is 0% chance Tim or anyone else that works directly for them would try to scam somebody for a few hundred dollars.

no employee or anyone assocaited with RBE has scammed you - so i would prefer if you change it from "Scammed by Rakebackengine Employee" to "Scammed by Ferbets"

I know Tim well and he is not Ferbets, I do see how this was confused. Rakeupdate.com (who I work for) and Tim at RBE do a lot of business together and I'm positive this was not Tim nor would he have any reason to scam anyone for $500 or so
