Lightbulb FullTilt poker freeroll - Lets organize it together

Freerolls are nice to get newsletter subscribers, forum members and new poker players (which means $$$). I had very positive results with freerolls.

Unfortunately most poker rooms give you $100 or max $200 freerolls so you can't have a $1000+ freeroll unless you invest your own money.

Therefore I have decided to organize a bigger freeroll on FullTilt Poker. I am sure they will pay 50% of the freeroll (I am not sure yet). Every interested affiliate will have to give $100. The more affiliates are interested the bigger the freeroll will be.

Lets say 10 affiliates are interested:

    10 x $100 + 50% from fulltilt = $2000 freeroll.

I am going to post this on other affiliate forums as well and try to get as many affiliates as possible.

I am going to talk with a FTP aff manager. You will have to send the money to my FTP account (preferably) or via Moneybookers.

    Why FTP?
Because they accept US players and the aff managers are serious. Every poker affiliate is promoting FTP. If this works out well we could continue with freerolls on other poker rooms as well.

First of all tell me if you are interested to see what we can do.

No value if its password protected. There is freeroll mafia out there. They even invaded ASOP freeroll

If it is made with list/invites its complicated.

Do free rolls really result in long term earnings for poker affiliates?

They can be good to get the word out for a new brand, but I'd be surprised to see affiliates earning big money off of a FTP free roll campaign.

    I could be wrong though....?

Do you meant that the pass would be posted on forums so that everybody would have access to it?

There are lots of password "thief " forums out there.I would think some 1 would post it on 1 or more of them. If you have a "allow" list system i would be interested in it.

That can be avoided by sending/posting the freeroll passwords one hour before the freeroll starts. I wouldn't worry much about 20-30 players coming from other sites.

I will think about way to do it with invitations, but that may be too much hassle.

I suggest you run a few small freerolls yourself first. Then you'll know that what you said won't work. I've given passwords to freerolls about 10 mins before kick off - they get posted on freeroll forums. The last one I did I had 50-60 players who were given the password, and 140 turned up. And that was for a $50 freeroll, not $2k.

Ok then is ther any other way we can do this together excluding invitations?

BTW: I've organized many freerolls in the past 3 years.

I'd be far more interested in a joint investment in rake races. They're far better for attracting conversions, and people can't sneak into them.

May be interested in participating in this project if the tourneys have players lists, and not passwords.
