Hi - after reading a dozen of poker books its time for me to read a book about writing (poker strategy) articles.

Which book(s) can you recommend me?

Sorry to *bump* this thread back to page 1, but I am sure that some of you can recommend me (and others) a book about "how to write content". Thank you!

I could have sworn that I wrote a reply last week...

Anyway, take a look at "On writing well". I can't remember the name of the author, but Randy Ray has written a bit about the book on www.pokerseo.org, so you can probably find his name there.

Copywriting 101 from Copyblogger is definitely worth reading.

When you have got those two things nailed down, consider looking into how to create teaching materials for adult learners.

On Writing Well is by William Zinsser. The Elements of Style is another good one.

Thank you - I will buy the two books.

I regularly read Copyblogger - a great resource. Another similar blog that I visit several times a week is Blog Tips to Help You Make Money Blogging - ProBlogger

I've read the two books. Elements of Style is a very short book with writing/grammar rules. For me as a non-native speaker, it was a bit too advanced.

"On Writing Well" was an extremely great book. It's unbelievable how Zinsser writes about how you can improve your writing. Really unbelievable. I can recommend this one to everyone who writes - be it for fun/pleasure or for his job.
