Content Theft . Aff Program Cant Help?

Dont know why im posting this here, just wanted you guys to see it and have a little chuckel.

I really dont mind the theft as its only like 10 articles and im faxing the dmca in the morning to bluehost and there going to pull the site. Already talked to them they just need the fax with the signature.

But heres what happens, this guy has pdc and carbon banners pasted all over his site. So i send an email to them showing 2 of the stolen articles. And showing my originals. Asking them to maybe contact this guy about it or mabye shut his account for content theft, as i keep contacting him and had no answer, thats why im going to dmca route.

While you brought it up, how do you go about finding that you have stolen content? Only reason I found out once was because the idiot left one of my backlinks in the content and then it showed up in my backlinks log (or whatever it's called).

Alot of AMs are extremely helpful in getting plagiarised content removed. In fact I dont think there's an AM on PAL who wouldn't aid in the process including shutting down accounts.

RE, plagiarised content, Copyscape is definitely the best.

I have had this situation happen to me many times.

It takes time and if I were you continue to email the AM and ask him to contact the person who stole your content.

Also would be good to check the terms of service of the rooms he is promoting. Most affiliate programs are against copyright theft.

This if the Ams like this one says he won't get involved point out its in his own companies T and C's.

It is a surprise he would act like this.

I had to contact Ams many times and at first some would not do anything. BUt i was relentless and continued for days and weeks..

Eventually i had the persons aff accounts shut down and his memberships revolked from some forums..

Post his site all over the net! Shame the sucker!

Stealing content is crap. I am a writer myself, so I can say that it is as simple as using someone elses work as a guideline to create your own content about a subject. So many AMs come back when you do good work (and it is unique) that it isn't worth it at all to cheat. You earn more money in the long run by not being an idiot. If there are any other writers out there that are reading this and have ever thought of plagiarizing someone elses work, take a second to think about all the work you are going to lose when you are branded a scammer...
