Calling out PDXNikki (Amber Kopp)

A while back I ordered 100 articles from PDX Nikki which was delivered on time and without any problems. I had paid 50% of this order up front and the remaining 50% were supposed to be paid after completion of the articles. Once the articles were completed I had problems getting her paid via Paypal because I didn't have any money on the credit card connected to my Paypal account. Due to this I had to activate a new credit card on my Paypal account which takes a couple of days. Nikki is not really happy with having to wait for the money a couple of extra days which is completely understandable and she tells me that I can just open a new Paypal account with the other credit card and pay her that way. She assures me that this won't cause any problems even though I asked her plenty of times if she was 100% sure about that. So I open a new account with the second credit card and send her the maximum amount I am allowed to send and the next day I check my account only to find Paypal have closed it. I contacted Nikki and she tells me her account is also closed and the money I sent her is blocked.

After this happened It's quite obvious that I won't be able to send her any money for a while since my only working credit card is now blocked together with my Paypal account. This is when Nikki decides to "call me out" in the private forum with some semi truth story. You can find her version of it here: http://www.pokeraffiliatelistings.co...l-members.html. It's true that I took long to pay her for the content. But after telling you why this happened you will probably understand why the payment was delayed.

On the 23rd of December my Paypal account is still closed due to this incident but I get some money on PokerStars and I send Nikki the money I owed her for the first order but also $3150 up front for a second order. This is where my problems started. It is now the 24th of January and I have only received 2 articles out of the ones I ordered. What's even worse is that she is not replying to my emails or to my PM's. Back when she was looking to get paid for the first order she was online at MSN 24/7 but since then I haven't seen her online. When I paid for the order she told me that it would take 6-8 weeks to complete the order so she still has time to come through in theory. But what quality will the articles be when she has to do a rush job to complete on time.

What I am really looking for here is a refund because I don't want to work with anyone who doesn't communicate. It wouldn't be so much of a problem if she could just stay in touch and tell me what's going on but ignoring emails and PM's is not cool.

If there is anyone who knows where PDX Nikki (Amber Kopp) is then please tell her to read this thread.

Wow, sorry to hear about this mate.

Thats quite a bit of money to have hanging.
Why dont you use an escrow service for an order like that?

I use elance myself, and then you know there wont be a problem.
Maybe an idea for future dealings?

First of all I would like to know why one of the mods changed the title of this thread. There is a reason why I wrote Amber Kopp in the title.

I just wanted to give an update here on the forum so that no one else gets ripped of by this idiot.

After I called her out she promised me that she would start sending me at least 20 articles a week. I told her I didn't want to work with her anymore because of the huge delay. She went on to tell me the usual sob story that always comes when dealing with Nikki that involved her being able to withdraw a maximum of $300 per month from her bank account (must be a pretty weird bank).

Anyway, I decided to give her another chance since she had some reasons for the delay (even though I kinda knew they were lies).

And here we are 3 weeks after my first post and I have only received an additional 14 articles which were sent in the days after calling her out. The last article received was on the 5th of February.

I sent Nikki (Amber Kopp) an email on the 6th February telling her to get a grip and start sending me articles and this is the reply I received on the day after:

Hey...been moving all week...you will have 20 articles by Wednesday. No need for the week, I am finishing up moving today and tomorrow, so you can expect some articles tomorrow night and then every day after.

That was the 7th of February so I was supposed to have gotten another 20 articles latest Wednesday this week. I still haven't received one of those articles and she stopped replying to my emails and is never online on MSN.

My total order of articles is in the 200 region so I am still owed about 170 articles of my total order.

I have given up hope on even getting these articles and a refund seems to be out of the question because it is painfully obvious that my up front payment has been spent already.

My point of making this post is just to make all the member aware of the fact that Nikki (Amber Kopp) is a nothing but a scammer, there really isn't a nicer way to put it at this point. I would strongly advise all of the members of this forum to never ever hire her for a writing job or anything else as she obviously has some kind of issues with keeping deadlines.

I have lost a lot of money on this project that I hired her for, not only the $3150 up front payment but also from earnings that would have been should my site have been completed before the Super Bowl and the March Madness.

Hopefully this update will keep other members from being scammed by Amber Kopp.

Nikki, I know you've been given tons of chances to fix this issue - Marcus has always been a pretty patient guy fwiw...so for you to duck out of your responsibilities and providing more excuses upon even more excuses is pretty unacceptable and completely unprofessional.

Not only did you mess up business with one of the most reputable affiliates on PAL, but you've most likely burned bridges with anyone who has or would even consider doing business with you in the future due to this situation.

*ps* and yes JD, we know you want to chime in here - but please...just let it go, lol. Hoping for Nikki's reply soon on this one...should be an interesting one I'm sure.

Its scary that members that you think are trustworthy pulls a stunt like this.
Its just a reminder that no matter who you deal with you gotta take some steps to ensure you dont get scammed.
Hopefully she will give you some articles at some point you can use so you get a little value out of the money you have spendt.
