I was at the London Affiliate Conference for the past 4 days and extremely busy. I never avoid answering questions.

MJ - what questions do you want answered? We raised the FPP requirements as we had many CPA affiliates sending us very poor quality traffic. I can't comment on other affiliate programs CPA's as I don't see their reports. What I can say is that from our reports the CPA's that we are paying do not reflect the player quality.

The changes in the VIP program do not mean that the players will reach 250 FPPs as easily as they did beofre. It will make it easier for some players, yes, and we hope that with such a good VIP program that players will be even more incentivized to keep playing and reach 250 FPPs (and beyond).

We offer revenue share to select affiliates so if anyone is interested then send us an email and we can let you know the details. The only reason we don't just open this up is because we want to be sure to avoid rakeback.

    Carly,

Could you please PM me with the best way to contact you? As I mentioned earlier in this thread, in the last 60 days I've sent 7 emails to you and/or the aff email addy, with only one response from you saying you'd look into a couple things for me. I never got a reply, and can't seem to get a reply from anyone in your department. I'm owed $110 from November that I wasn't paid, and I have a bunch of sites I need added to my account. That's all I need, this shouldn't take 7 emails, 2 months and 2 messages on here to get this done. I'm a low-maintenance affiliate, could we just get these two little things done once and for all?

Send me an email and I will get this done. However, sending an email to affiliates@pokerstarspartners.com is the best method for the future.

Email sent to you again Carly. I really hope we get this done finally. That email address you posted is not a good method. It gets me 0 responses.

My CPA was paid, but it's February and I'm still waiting for the December Italian rev share.

Pokerstars must have an overall low player value or this system would never have been put in place. After a year of being on revenue share, a fellow affiliate who sends only the highest quality players had to drop them because of such low player value.

Carly I still think you're great, but I really think this decision needs to be overrided or a lot of affiliates are going to bail. Like the people showed above, sending hundreds of depositing players should not result in revenue that's only a couple grand.

Instead of simply hitting affiliates for the inevitable low value players, why not reward them for their high players. Essentially this is what a CPA is about, you lose some money to some low value players but the bigger players even it out.

If a program wants higher value players reward affiliates FOR the high value players, not just penalizing them for the low value ones. A tiered FPP bonus value would solve that. I hate to refer to Full Tilt, but they do it, even though it's an incentive that wouldn't make me switch to their CPA.

Forcing affiliates to go to revenue share because the CPA program is bad is something we'd expect from poker rooms that can't afford CPA payouts (ie: doylesroom), not the biggest room...

In case you're one of those affiliates that don't make a dime, why not play free poker on my website PokerForFree.org. I am always on the hunt for new members, and if you contact me and mention PAL, I'll be more than happy to increase your initial bankroll a bit

In the history of gambling, January 2010 will be remembered as the time when PokerStars' market share started to drop.

PAW also just recently changed the requirements to be considered a RMP at Full Tilt...in a GOOD WAY for us.

Carly why can't you be involved here and (even if it feels difficult) show the professionalism many other AM's here show and stick it out, answer direct questions, and don't ignore affiliate queries.

Anyways, my take is that Stars wants you to believe they struggle to get $75 dollars average player value out of your signups, but PartyPoker tells us there average player is worth over $600.

Sounds like Stars doesn't have much faith in their retention ability, easy answer is replace all your top lists with Full Tilt (less people have accounts there anyways).

Take the PAW $125 deal for example - you are earning a lot more and the qualifiers are easy at 100 points (about $10 rake).

If Stars doesn't want your business give it to someone who does!
